Weight: 218.3 lb BF: 21.9% I feel like my body might be fighting some illness. Last two days have been restless sleep and difficult nights. Feeling a bit sluggish, but life must go on. I showed up this week by continuing to do the things I know I need to do, as a dad, a husband, and even a baseball coach. Life can feel pretty heavy and over-scheduled at times, so maintaining priorities is really important. I’m still learning how to do that. I’m also consciously trying to praise my kids more. They should never doubt my love and loyalty. Big win of the week had to be the podium spot in the STACK challenge. Even if I hadn’t received prizes, it was so great to finish last year strong, and roll that momentum into the new year.

Down .3% BF from last week Start stats: 164.3 LBS 11.4% BF Week 2: 160.2 LBS 9.9% BF Week 3: 161.7lbs 8.7%BF Week 4: 160 lbs 8.8% BF This week: 159.8lbs 8.5% body fat I’m focusing on actually getting in all my calories. It’s been a super busy week and I know I need to maintain calories so I don’t start burning muscle. I want to be at 165lbs and 8% BF by March. 💪🏽 Sleep has also been awful lately. So I’m just focusing on getting back to the basics this week. Lift. Eat. Hydrate. Sleep. I’ve been grateful for all the time with my kids that I’ve had including the upcoming week that I’ve got them for a week straight. Win of the week was spending a bunch of time with my daughter on Christmas Day. ❤️

Progress
Ohh being a woman lol. After ending my cycle last week and getting better with adding some runs, I’m down 2 pounds from where I started the challenge and down 7 pounds from last week 😂 although I went up .1% in body fat. My goals have definitely changed. I am focusing on consistency rather than the bf %. That will come. I’ve started to wake up earlier to get in a run before work which has had a more than a few benefits and am being kinder to myself when life gets crazy by not defaulting to food and wine to make me feel better. My positive from this last week is I have a better mindset and understanding.
