Big News!
Good morning this is day 40. But… Here’s some exciting news! We are officially launching the community in October and feel like we’re just getting started. Our plan is to keep doing these sprints and invite more people to join. Within the next month, we’ll be launching our Freedomology app which will be the hub for all things Freedomology: The community, the 40-day sprints, various 5-10 day challenges, videos, live streams, articles, contests and giveaways etc. It will all take place in our new app. You’ll be able to find other members who share similar interests or are located near you, and you’ll have access to ALL of our sprints (H40, F40, R40) year-round. 💪 In addition to H40 (a 40-day sprint to better health), we’ll be offering F40 (a 40-day path to financial freedom) and R40 (40 days to transform your relationships). These three sprints are focused on the areas of life that matter most: Relationships 👫, Health 🏃‍♂️and Finances 💰. I'm still working through ADAM.
One of our favorite family Mexican meals
I could literally eat this everyday. It's vegan, but we aren't, so I tweak it. I make 5# of taco meat with homemade seasoning - most for this dinner and the rest to make breakfast or lunch the bext day. On non-carb fasting days, I eat as is, with the addition of the meat. Instead of agave, I use a couple drops of liquid stevia, but it really isn't even necessary. On carb fasting days, I will have it over salad with a just a sprinkle of quinoa, beans, and corn, along with the rest of the stuff, lots of taco meat. I do the onions and tomatoes together, then the corn and beans separate so I can have more control over the carbs. It's super EASY! You can make everything ahead and just make the quinoa on the night you're eating it. It is a little spicy and a lot delicious! https://www.thissavoryvegan.com/simple-mexican-quinoa-bowls/

I am on day 3 of a migraine, so I feel a bit behind. On Sunday and Monday, I did the 4 parts of ADAM, just not all first thing in the morning. Today I did my ADAM first thing 💪 I am planning to do my first carb fast today... I am REALLY excited about this way of eating- I have done keto in the past and I love how I feel, but it is not sustainable, so I end up breaking and binge eating. This seems like a great way to balance. I still have a migraine so I probably won't be on the app a lot today, but I wanted to check in to say I am still working the program :)

Today is day one of a migraine for me. No fun! I know it's because I cut out sugar. I hope you get some relief.
Carb fasting...?
I'm trying to carb fast today - very difficult to totally avoid carbs - even my Bada Beans have a few carbs in them. But, with 2 meals/snacks done, I'm at 20 carbs so far. Will do my best to keep the lowest carbs possible for dinner. It's tomato season - this is a challenge! But, definitely committed to doing my best 3 days a week.
