My progress.
Let me introduce myself again. I'm 16, 5'6" tall, and my goal is to get in shape by December! My Story: I started my journey by doing calisthenics🤸‍♂️ with my body weight for 2 - 3 months📅. But then I learned more about fitness🧐 and realized🤔 that I can't make significant changes by only doing calisthenics🤸‍♂️😵. I saved some money 💰for my home gym🏋‍♂️, but that wasn't enough😢. Then I told my parents about a home gym, and they agreed! 😇 I bought some plates, a barbell, adjustable dumbbells, a bench, etc. I didn't want to go to the gym (I have gym anxiety😟). My first month of weight training 🏋‍♂️was great💪. I already knew the techniques and forms for each exercise because of the calisthenics training🤸‍♂️ I did before. After training for 4 - 5 months📅 with weights and bulking🥘, this is what I look like: I think my genetics🧬 are pretty good for muscle building. I don't know why I can still see my abs—I'm on a bulk!😅 Lastly, all credit goes to Owen🫂. He simplified everything, like progressive overload, diet, training, and workouts, which helped me a lot. Keep it up, Owen. You're helping so many men around the world🌍."

Bench Progress
Hit 150 on bench, making huge progress on the bench as i didn't even think I could bench 135 1-2 months ago.

Made a big mistake
So at one point i could (improper form) curl 40 pounds, this was at one month of my gym progress and i had bicep curls at around sets of 3x8-12 or 15. I changed it after my one month mark, i did 3x6-8 and 2 minute rest time. I made no gains and wanted to know why and I believe I figured it out. I was training lower reps (as if training for strength) and wasn’t even giving myself longer rest periods to go along with the lower reps. A very big slap in the face for me 😐
