Made a big mistake
So at one point i could (improper form) curl 40 pounds, this was at one month of my gym progress and i had bicep curls at around sets of 3x8-12 or 15. I changed it after my one month mark, i did 3x6-8 and 2 minute rest time. I made no gains and wanted to know why and I believe I figured it out. I was training lower reps (as if training for strength) and wasn’t even giving myself longer rest periods to go along with the lower reps. A very big slap in the face for me 😐

What is the best range of reps to build muscle, and does it differ for any muscle groups, if so what are the recommended reps for said muscle group

Struggling with pull ups
Hey, not too long ago I got a pull up bar off of Amazon and have been trying to get the pull up but have found that I don’t have the strength ( might be grip related ). Was wondering if you guys had any tips I could use.

Or you could try out some negative pull ups first
Got my Bench finally
I forgot to say, in the beginning of my journey i started without a bench because i was waiting for it to come from Amazon, i got my bench a couple of days ago, forgot to tell you guys. Also wanted to say i was horrible at the Incline bench press at first. I was feeling no tension at my pecs, I also had some shoulder discomfort but when i took the time to lower the weight, master the form, and attempt it at my regular weights again, I felt it. - Take your time to at least get the form down, doing exercises with bad form is like construction workers building a building with no Blueprints. You’ll waste your time and leave muscle and strength gains on the table.

So I’ve been very consistent with my workouts this 1st month but yesterday i had full body but when to go pick up my weights and felt my head hurt, and it only hurt when i bent down, I searched it up and it’s nothing fatal but I had to skip my workout that day because it hurt so bad and low key still hurts today but the issue is I feel like a wimp because I skipped my workout 😭😭
