Weekly check ins. is happening in 4 days
Daily Activity: 31 Oct + some
Yesterday (30 Oct) was an upper body day and was still feeling that intense leg day yesterday. Got a quick Halloween run in tonight and we’re all ready to hand out candy. 🎃 It’s been a month of challenges, opportunities and self reflection. I’m excited for next month to start new goals and work harder. I know what I need to improve and prioritize 💪🏼 Happy Halloween! 👻

Had a great leg day and feel tired but good from it. It was a stressful Monday so making it to the gym tonight was a win! Going to try close this last week out strong and sticking my weekly goals.

“You don't have to be an expert. No one is expecting you to be an expert. All you need to do is show up and be you.” - Ruth Soukup, motivational author Happy Wednesday! Excited for a short work week - Nevada Day on Friday and I’m looking forward to a day off. I’ve missed a few journaling days but kept up with hitting my 15k step goal for the most part. I get at least 10K, and so far 2 lift days - a full body circuit and a leg day - plus 2 runs with Sunny. I have a 10K trail run in Nov to prep for so these easy week day runs help for my longer trail runs on the weekends. Plus Sunny is a great runner and keeps me going. Love that pup!! Continually prioritizing protein and sleep right now. What are protein rich snacks you eat other than protein shakes that are tasty too?! 😋

Have your habits changed?
We’re coming up on the end of the month. And I want to ask you guys a question for you to answer honestly to yourselves. Did you use this month, and join this community and actually start making changes to your habits or not? Did you show up and do the three main things that you know the simple challenge is based on at least six days a week? Did you keep the commitments you made to yourself? If yes. Congratulations I guarantee you saw results, you most likely saw our results mentally, emotionally, and physically. If you didn’t, I challenge you to go hard for the rest of the month. And commit to sticking with this for another 60 days minimally. Become more active in this community and make sure that you show up every day to get a meaningful work out, hit your protein, and get eight hours of sleep at night. In just a few days, I’ll be releasing the full stack that I use as my outline. Not only is it helpful because it’s a quick reference to be able to see what things need to be done to win the day and ultimately the month. But it’s also nice to know that by just doing those things every day I’m not moving backwards. Even when life gets crazy, I know I’m making forward progress mentally and physically no matter what. Check-in’s are tomorrow and I expect everybody here to drop in their progress updates. I don’t care if you haven’t really gotten started yet or you’ve been at it all month. Show up, do a check in tomorrow and commit to finishing out the month of October Strong. There is no downside to investing in yourself daily. And ironically prioritizing that will give you all that much more energy and momentum to get the things done that working on or towards now in other areas… the things you may be using excuses why you can’t take care of your body and mind in the first place. ⚡️

Have your habits changed?
Gained .5% body fat this week 😱
And I don’t care. I added 15 minutes of cardio to my routine for the first time starting last Tuesday. Incline said at 10 speed set at three for a solid 15 minutes I also started back on a peptide therapy regimen, and I’m excited to track the progress and share it with you I pretty much maintained this week, but this regimen not only has me feeling great and looking decent. But it’s given me the discipline to level up my professional skill set, show up as a parent, and build the emotional resiliency needed to be able to make it through a growing three or divorce. That finally ended last night after 4 1/2 hour mediation. Even though ideally, I would have dropped body fat and maintained my body weight, the fact that we are showing up every day and tracking at least one time a week means we won’t wake up, surprised in a month or two that we’ve gained a ton of weight and lost muscle. By checking in today and seeing the numbers, I know what adjustments I need to make next week to make sure those corrections are made quickly and I keep myself on track. I’m super interested to know what things you guys are looking or hoping for most in this community, it might sound silly, but now that my divorce is final, I feel a huge weight lifted from me and an increased capacity to do the things I’ve been wanting to do like going deeper into my personal weekly stack and bandwidth to create more useful content for you. For example, next week I’m filling filming with Brian McGill for all of you who are coming up on your 40 days in the community that will be unlocked for you and I think that you’ll love what he has to teach us. Please feel free to use the comments below to tell me what things you wish you had in here like More recipes, group Zoom calls, which I know you’ve said that you want that I’ll start doing in November, personalized training or accountability. Or a more clearly laid out challenge for the month of November. Thanks for showing up daily. Keep stackin’ 🥞 SV
