Dopamine Detox
I started a dopamine detox before joining the community. By the time I joined I had already been off of social media for about a month. I hadn’t yet seen Abraham’s monk mode videos and was wondering why I kept unconsciously picking up my phone even when there was “nothing” to do on it. I’d just stare at the screen and put it back down or go on shopping apps and scroll. I’ve already cut my screen time down by 75% but I’m gonna try the greyscale thing he talked about and see if I can cut it down even more.

Monk Mode and Relationships
I’m wondering what you guys think about going in monk mode while dating someone. From what I’ve seen people refer to this period as an intense focus/discipline period for a specific goal. And being ‘isolated’ in a sense, but how does this work if you’re in a relationship? Is it better to go into monk mode while being single?
