Self Development journey
Hello lads Belfast lad here have introduced myself previously. I want to incorporate a post into my daily morning routine for accountability. I have decided to begin a self development period and work on myself. I have signed up to the Barcelona Marathon next year and have started training for it with a few half marathons in-between to keep myself motivated. These are fine and ticking over it is doing the personal work on myself that seems to go to the side like breathing work, reflection reading etc. I hope I can start to build these into a routine in the morning and also put a post on here to mark as complete.

Welcome Gareth.
October Recap
My objectives for October were as follows 12 strength sessions 8 Cardio sessions Morning cold plunge and journal as part of my morning routine. I achieved all of the above with exception of only 6 cardio sessions. Happy with this as 2 weeks of school holidays really challenged my routines and time management. Moving forwards I know in the future to be more flexible with intentions during holiday periods as time with the family comes first. Anyway hope everyone is looking to smash November and finish the year positively.

Journaling
Journaling makes a big difference in getting rid of the brain fog. Writing your day down and always having it to hand to refer back to means you have clear clarity to your day. This is my day planned.

Agreed. Part of my morning routine, helps me organise the day ahead. I also use it as a recap each night to help keep me on track.
When things do not go to plan
So this week has not gone to plan, kids not at school and the hole house ill, including me, so my plans have had to change, so glad to have a spinning bike at home, so i may not be able to do my running, walking on the Tmill I can do 20mins slow pace on the bike, its all i can do but it is better than nothing.

Your doing great mate. Focus in the fact that you're still achieving. Take the small wins.
Limiting beliefs
If you were to write down the top 10 things you want to experience in life before you die, what would they be? This was an exercise I ran with my Top 1% guys in Spain last week, and I had to call them out on their self-limiting beliefs. The problem was, they were limiting what they thought they could achieve in life. They had put a ceiling on their potential and created stories they told themselves about why they couldn’t achieve certain experiences. This is something we all do on a daily basis. We limit what we can achieve because we don’t see ourselves as capable of overcoming the obstacles that stand in our way. Or we tell ourselves we’re not good enough. What you’ve done is create a narrative in your head, and that narrative determines your success & belief. So, here’s my challenge to you this morning: Write down the top five things you want to experience in your life and add them in the comments below. ⬇️ Don’t think about why you can’t achieve them. Don’t base your decisions on who you are now—base them on the man you’re going to become. Then ask yourself, why haven’t you started the process of achieving any of those experiences? It might reveal the reason you’re holding yourself back from your full potential every single day. On top of that list of 5 five, I want you to choose the one that stands out the most in terms of excitement Then write down at five step plan of how you’re going to start achieving that exciting experience Then add deadlines to each of the steps that you’ve created What are you waiting for? JB
