3M’s: Day 3
MINDSET: Connecting. I love my Wednesday morning business networking group for all the connections, support and camaraderie. Today I brought three wonderful visitors to join in the experience, one from Australia. Connections across the globe! MOVEMENT: I have to count bath time as movement for today and I did notice my glucose spike on my CGM during this time which means it did facilitate increased temperature and circulation similar to exercise. Bath time with princesses! MOCRONUTRIENTS: I am a Kefir Connoisseur! I did some experimentation with my CGM today by experimenting with Kefir before eating a banana muffin and it was interesting to compare to the day before when I just had the muffin and no kefir. I will share more about that!

Day 3 - 3 M’s
Mindset: Grounded - had my 6th week of a chakra meditation series. 1 more next week to finish off with the 7th chakra. It has been so rewarding and I look forward to it every week! Movement: 1 hour sunrise walk to the library to return books before work. Micronutrients: had so many left overs from last few days. We had a plate with a mixed leftover meal full of nutrients from all macros. Adam said he felt like he was at a buffet! 😉 (and he loves buffets).

Mindset- peace (let go of worries & anxious thoughts) Movement- 2 longer walks, extra energy today 😊; also acupuncture with Dr Irina which helped sinus & cough Micronutrients- started the day with a loaded protein shake- avocado, paleo reds, coconut kefir, papaya, banana 😋

Mindset: Happiness. Feeling good in my conversations with people and with productivity. Movement: Went for an “exercise snack” walk around the block before lunch 👌. Micronutrients: Made muffins with Ellie before school. It got her out of bed quickly and might just be our new Tuesday morning routine! She was very proud to give one to her teachers and that they now want her to make a two layered cake 🩷.

- being present (always a challenge with a busy mind) - morning walk was chilly and dark but I encountered a very welcome gathering of chickadees within a leaf barren tree; also enjoyed a lovely facial massage which helped relieve my aching sinuses 😊 - Homemade zucchini muffin (adapted from Higher Health recipe) with fresh strawberries & coconut kefir for midday snack, quite yummy 😋
