@Christina Holmquist this is me, I’m currently seeing a physiotherapist and Biokineticist for this same problem. I do have a neurological disorder so the problem is neuromuscular and not stimulating the correct muscles when doing upper body movements and thus I end up with extremely tight upper traps and tension headaches. The best is to see a physio or someone like that to guide you in which muscles you should be strengthening and which ones you shouldn’t. I still struggle with this, and I have to really concentrate on not over doing it on upper body days otherwise I end up bed ridden.
Hello 👋 you cool cats
Hi there! I’m Ulrike, 40 years young and living in South Africa. I’m super excited to be here with everyone. I was in an Uber which was involved in a big car accident in June and was injured quite badly. I’ve had quite some pain since Then but have always tried to stay as active as possible. I’m here to continue moving forward in my strength and training journey. This last year I also recovered from an ED and gained 15kg which were definitely necessary. However most of the weight collected around the midsection and now I want to build healthy muscle and help a bit to redistribute the weight:-) Thank you for this amazing space!

Howzit!
Hi everyone! It’s exciting to be here. I have been in a bit of a slump this year, I’m battling with some health conditions and next month I’m seeing a neurologist for some symptoms I’ve been dealing with. I love training and exercise but lately the motivation hasn’t been there and I feel like being part of a community will help me get back on my feet again 🤗 oh and I am all the way in sunny South Africa 🇿🇦P.S us Safricans love to greet others by saying “Howzit” 🙋🏼‍♀️ (basically meaning hello how are you) 😂
