Are You Ready to Become a Category King? 👑
Check out this video from Russell… Here is What I Learned: In a world filled with competitors, Russell Brunson teaches us that the KEY to success is not trying to dominate an existing market. Instead, it's about creating your OWN category and becoming its king! Here’s the core lesson: Great businesses don’t compete—they create. 1️⃣ Start with the Problem: The first step is identifying the ONE BIG PROBLEM you solve for your audience. Not 10 problems, not 5—just one. This clarity sets you apart. Example: Uber solved “Taxis stink.” ClickFunnels originally solved: “Entrepreneurs aren’t technical.” 2️⃣ Understand the Three Levels of Markets: Core Markets: Health, Wealth, Relationships. Submarkets: Weight Loss, Investing, Dating. Niches: Keto Diet, Stock Trading for Beginners, Online Dating for Seniors. 3️⃣ Each layer gets narrower, but over time even niches become overcrowded. To stand out, you must create your OWN category within these markets. 4️⃣ Be the First to Solve It: When you craft a new category, you position yourself as the FIRST and ONLY solution. This makes you the Category King—and kings dominate 80-90% of the market! 5️⃣ Focus on Problems, Not Features: People don’t buy features—they buy solutions. Your messaging should always focus on the problem you solve, not the tools or features you offer. How YOU Can Apply This: ➡️ Define Your Problem: What’s the ONE big problem you solve better than anyone else? Write it down in 10 words or less. ➡️ Create a New Category: What unique spin can you put on your market to stand out? For example, instead of just “funnels,” ClickFunnels became synonymous with sales funnels. ➡️ Position Yourself as the Solution: Craft your messaging to make it clear that YOU are the Category King of this problem. How I’m Putting This Into Practice: In building Performncy and launching 2CC Funnels, I’m asking myself: What’s the ONE big problem these brands solve? How can I position them to OWN their categories? For 2CC Funnels, the problem is clear: “Entrepreneurs struggle to build million-dollar webinar funnels.”
