Algorithms and Automation
I will post a new video and files into the Automations classroom here shortly. But before I do, I want to wrap it into a short lesson. Mostly because I just spent an hour on Reddit and was once again deluged with posts about "hacking" the algo and "gaming" Threads/Twitter/Whatever. Don't do this. There is no hack. And occasionally, when folks find something they can exploit, it's fixed immediately and no longer works. Every social media algorithm is in place for one reason and one reason only. To get you to stay on the platform longer. That's it. All the major platforms do this in unbelievably sophisticated ways, but at the end of the day, there is only one thing they care about; more eyeballs for longer. You can use this by posting regularly and engaging with others ( comments, likes, saves ). That's it. Every social platform has an insatiable hunger for more content, and if you're someone who will provide it, they'll reward you. Yes, the rewards will be bigger if you create content that people respond to. But it's consistency that wins the game every time. So, with that in mind. This new automation is a path to easy and fast consistency. It's a super social media posting system for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, you name it. It is built to run almost on its own, and if you add a couple of the other automations I'm finalizing, it will post everything as well. Right now, the system uses Make.com, Airtable, and all of the big AI systems ( Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity ) to take a quick note, turn it into entire posts, and save it for you to review. And it will do it all for, on average, about .0003 cents a post. But. With great power comes great responsibility. This is still AI content. It cannot be all you post. And it isn't a replacement for the comment and liking you should be doing every day ( take 15 minutes when you start working ). But it will help with that consistency. I'll put up a full video explaining what it does. I'll post more videos on how to set it up ( it's not technical, but does require connecting accounts ).

Q&A Thursday 12 Dec
I didn't see a way to confirm or deny attendance on Skool's calendar page, so I'm dashing off a quick post. I cannot make it to this week's Q&A; I didn't want Kerry (or anyone else) just waiting around to see if someone would show up, because he's been very generous with his time and knowledge. That's all. Back to work. Thanks, everyone!

What's up, y'all? I'm Jonathan. I'm a marginally-reformed tech guy building a freelance email copywriting business. I prefer brandies alexander to piña coladas, and if I get caught in the rain again my allergist might fire me, but otherwise I'm a pretty average guy.

Time Zones ⌚
Hey everyone, I just wanted to ask where abouts everyone is located. I want to make sure I can come to some coffee hours and Q&A's, but I am in the UK so its a bit tougher for me to promise before knowing where around the world everyone is! Corinna = GMT

First Sales Lesson is Here
This first video has maybe the most important concept that needs adopting for most people. For anyone launching a service, a product, a platform, anything, this might be the most important video you can watch. Can't wait to hear some feedback and comments on this one. https://www.skool.com/the-new-skool-3248/classroom/854c71b6?md=b943d764c5d644ea978940cb328e9bf0

This video was fantastic. I appreciated the cold open — you got right into the content without an introduction. The lesson isn't particularly relevant to me at this time simply because I'm going to the marketplace with a fairly simple, no-brainer offer (x amount of dollars for y amount of copy), but I'm an extreme outlier in this regard. It was very refreshing, and very encouraging, to see that this is our starting point in the group. I also appreciate the directness of the message: put first things first, sales before product. Again, happy Thanksgiving and thank you!
