Hey Guys wanted to give you my perspective of my week and a thought about calls.
Had a call with a guy on Monday. No closers or setters. No real sales people. He said: Donā€™t really need a setter, think you could close? Me: Sure Iā€™ll give it a shot lol I know this is an over simplified version of sales as a whole because there are a lot of directions a sale can go through. I also still have lots to learn about this whole game. Note to give context or frame of thinking around this. Matt Ryder: (Courtesy of Constanza) Who are we to tell a prospect what to do? Yes they hoped on a call with us, but we donā€™t know each other. We just met. It's through our words we help direct their thinking, for them to come to the final decision. Theyā€™re the ones paying for it. Sales in 3 levels (Yes I know, simplified)Ā why did they actually buy? or what did it actually take to sell the person. - Level 1: If they were sold on the pitch was it even a sale?Ā  Do some come to the call already to buy. The pitch (The program was enough to know what they wanted) - Level 2: The Discovery (the pain) + the Pitch was enough comparison in their mind for them to decide what was best, and to buy.Ā  - Level 3: The Discovery + The Pitch + Objection Handling = Them buyingĀ  (the ones we fear, we train for, we think are always going to show up to every call) I canā€™t believe I got the job lol Now I canā€™t believe I closed $2$ let alone anything in the first week. But was it me? Or were the level 1ā€™s just next on the calendar. From the beginners perspective, it's crazy to think we have meetings with people we have no clue how they're going to be. Train for the worst, hope for the best aha But get momentum and tomorrow's another day.

I would not be here without challenges
When I started in sales I was a completely different person. I let people walk all over me, I wasnā€™t confident in who I was or what I wanted but most importantly I wasnā€™t the best version of myself that I wanted to be. When I first started I was doing a challenge called Monk Mode where itā€™s 21 days of 6 non negotiable tasks you need to complete. I was cold plunging, working out, meditating, reading, journaling, and running every day. That was the start of something great, and something I never imagined. After a month of starting I quit my job to full time into thisā€¦ not only did I fail miserably for my first month, but for my first three.. I made virtually nothing.. until I joined an offer with a fitness influencer with 4 mil followers, then joined a company selling a $144k offer. During that time, I started to build confidence, deals were getting closed, but I started to learn a life lesson, honestly a huge one. Accountability and ownership. Matt touched upon it today in his post but thatā€™s huge when it comes to sales and self development. Be accountable for everything you do, be humble, donā€™t grow and ego, and thereā€™s always someone better than you. Now I have been in sales for over a year now.. a year worth of working 7 days a week for 10 months straight, a year of $2.5 million cash collected in revenue, a year of over 6,000 calls taken, 6 months of deep mentorship, 4 months of coaching, and a year of growth. But one thing that keeps me going.. is that I feel I know sales very deeply, and have years of experience mashed into a year because of my deep mentorshipā€™s, and high caliber selling, but thereā€™s always ways to improve. Sales isnā€™t just a professional development, but a personal one where everything is a skill.. and so I ask myself every day, what is the best path for me and my growth, and how can I put myself in a position to actually hit my goals. So for the challenges, thank you, because it not only made me better, but it showed me on how I can be better.
