I would not be here without challenges
When I started in sales I was a completely different person. I let people walk all over me, I wasn’t confident in who I was or what I wanted but most importantly I wasn’t the best version of myself that I wanted to be.
When I first started I was doing a challenge called Monk Mode where it’s 21 days of 6 non negotiable tasks you need to complete. I was cold plunging, working out, meditating, reading, journaling, and running every day. That was the start of something great, and something I never imagined.
After a month of starting I quit my job to full time into this… not only did I fail miserably for my first month, but for my first three.. I made virtually nothing.. until I joined an offer with a fitness influencer with 4 mil followers, then joined a company selling a $144k offer.
During that time, I started to build confidence, deals were getting closed, but I started to learn a life lesson, honestly a huge one. Accountability and ownership.
Matt touched upon it today in his post but that’s huge when it comes to sales and self development. Be accountable for everything you do, be humble, don’t grow and ego, and there’s always someone better than you.
Now I have been in sales for over a year now.. a year worth of working 7 days a week for 10 months straight, a year of $2.5 million cash collected in revenue, a year of over 6,000 calls taken, 6 months of deep mentorship, 4 months of coaching, and a year of growth.
But one thing that keeps me going.. is that I feel I know sales very deeply, and have years of experience mashed into a year because of my deep mentorship’s, and high caliber selling, but there’s always ways to improve.
Sales isn’t just a professional development, but a personal one where everything is a skill.. and so I ask myself every day, what is the best path for me and my growth, and how can I put myself in a position to actually hit my goals.
So for the challenges, thank you, because it not only made me better, but it showed me on how I can be better.
Thank you guys, keep crushing it 🤍
