Phase 2 Takeaways
When setting through SMS/DMs, its best to keep it between 3-5 text messages MAX. - The goal is to qualify them and gain the most amount of information I can between 2-3 questions. - Be focused on their goals, current situations, and why they haven't been able to achieve their goal on their own. Optional: Financial qualifier. It just a conversation so don't sound like a robot but also act like the influencer. - Portray the content in the influencers way - Using similar lingo - Keeping it short - Paying attention to the conversations - Don't be too direct Some other things to account for is: - Giving them 2 time options to book - If they don't answer, call them or follow up with messages

@Madison DeCoste I would say by using similar lingo as the influencer would be the best bet to making yourself not sound so robotic. Also just by being natural as possible by paying attention to your language and theirs!
Hello!!
Hey! My name is Summer, and I am located out of Minnesota! I currently am very new into sales. I am in my second year of college studying business at the University of Minnesota. I have a part-time job as a after school program coordinator/youth worker for a Hmong non-profit called HAP. With this job, I wanted to give back to my community and to also be involved within it in some sort of way. For this community, I am really looking to branch out and meet new people! I am excited to learn alongside with all of you and gain new skills to sharpen my mind about sales. I look forward to meeting you all!! I sometimes lose motivation during hard times, how do you get yourself out of these situations?

@Dylan Asena Thank you for the warm welcoming!! I appreciate it and will keep that in mind!
Phase 1
I love the idea of sharpening your sales sword. Having to constantly want to learn and do what's best for you at the end of the day. You can take a weekend break but just know the longer it gets, the faster your sword will dull.

@Matt Menton During phase one, I also learned the fundamentals of how to fail and succeed at this. One take away from it is to set goals along the way to push yourself. Like, showing up to as many live calls as I can, practicing on my own and with others, and requesting mock call reviews with the coaches to get better.

@Madison DeCoste Some other takeaways I had include the importance of not being a lazy setter. Sales is not easy, so I know I’ll need to put in the effort to reach my goals. Like, Doing follow up calls! I also learned that it's just a conversation meant to help the other person, even if I don’t end up pitching them.
