Hey Guys wanted to give you my perspective of my week and a thought about calls.
Had a call with a guy on Monday. No closers or setters. No real sales people. He said: Don’t really need a setter, think you could close? Me: Sure I’ll give it a shot lol
I know this is an over simplified version of sales as a whole because there are a lot of directions a sale can go through. I also still have lots to learn about this whole game.
Note to give context or frame of thinking around this.
Matt Ryder: (Courtesy of Constanza) Who are we to tell a prospect what to do? Yes they hoped on a call with us, but we don’t know each other. We just met. It's through our words we help direct their thinking, for them to come to the final decision. They’re the ones paying for it.
Sales in 3 levels (Yes I know, simplified) why did they actually buy? or what did it actually take to sell the person.
  • Level 1: If they were sold on the pitch was it even a sale?
Do some come to the call already to buy. The pitch (The program was enough to know what they wanted)
  • Level 2: The Discovery (the pain) + the Pitch was enough comparison in their mind for them to decide what was best, and to buy.
  • Level 3: The Discovery + The Pitch + Objection Handling = Them buying
(the ones we fear, we train for, we think are always going to show up to every call)
I can’t believe I got the job lol Now I can’t believe I closed $2$ let alone anything in the first week.
But was it me? Or were the level 1’s just next on the calendar.
From the beginners perspective, it's crazy to think we have meetings with people we have no clue how they're going to be. Train for the worst, hope for the best aha But get momentum and tomorrow's another day.
