Hear me out team, my 5km run TT at the end of the base builder plan is about the same as my initial TT. Am I dissappointed? Yeah, a bit but not in the result or effort today, rather I am dissappointed in me not doing the specific work over the last 8weeks.
Cardio? Yes! Zone 2-3? Yes! Running? Not so much.
So, my message and take away is don’t get upset about the results you don’t get from the work you don’t do….and now to put in the work to get me to HyRox Birmingham and a PB.
PS - I am actually pretty happy I can run a sub 24-min 5km 🏃♂️ and know I could be faster/more comfortable doing it.
