New York State of Mind
I was recently visiting New York City, a place full of crowded and high energy environments. This was my first visit to a place like that since beginning Wing Chun, and I noticed a huge difference in my experience by accessing The State. Previously, I would tune out and ignore some (or all) of what is happening around me in order to maintain calmness. The State allowed me to be fully present and highly perceptive while feeling good even in the midst of highly chaotic and unstable situations. It blew my mind!
Does anyone else have experiences with The State in chaotic environments? I'd love to hear
