Focus on the Now...
Now is the only time you can breathe, feel, think, smile, love, be happy... Now is when you choose to see the beauty in the simple. Now is when you decide that love will be your guide, always. Now is the time to recognize that you are enough, just as you are. Now is when you understand that peace is a choice, not a circumstance. Now is when you decide to flourish in the midst of adversity. Now is the time to listen to the whisper of your intuition. Now is when you discover freedom in acceptance. Now is when you allow yourself to feel deeply, without reservation. Now is the time to sow the seeds of a new beginning. Now is the time to trust your intuition. Now is when you free yourself from old ties. Now is the time to accept what you cannot change. Now is the time to live with authentic gratitude. Now is when you transform doubt into certainty. Now is the time to let go of the past. Now is when you recognize your true power. Now is when you let go of what weighs you down. Now is the time to find peace in the chaos. Now is the time to transform fear into love. Focus on the Now, the rest is illusion...

It just keeps getting better !
For some time now, I have felt tingling in my hand / fingers and fullness in my arms when I center and align my spine….I just finished a standing meditation that resulted in tingles in my feet up to my knees…..like water was rising… Relaxed, centered, belly breathing ( which is my natural breath for years), sensing my relaxation, sinking that felt like I was being pulled into the earth, once this was felt the tingles came on in my feet. This stuff is awesome !!!

New York State of Mind
I was recently visiting New York City, a place full of crowded and high energy environments. This was my first visit to a place like that since beginning Wing Chun, and I noticed a huge difference in my experience by accessing The State. Previously, I would tune out and ignore some (or all) of what is happening around me in order to maintain calmness. The State allowed me to be fully present and highly perceptive while feeling good even in the midst of highly chaotic and unstable situations. It blew my mind! Does anyone else have experiences with The State in chaotic environments? I'd love to hear

Nim Lik/Nim Tao/The State
This post is inspired by @Dustin Berry from his recent post on “Nim Lik”. The following content that I am about to share are just notes that I have taken and observations made through my collection of sources about the topic and the mindset that I have now adapted to create a baseline or if you like an entry to becoming the State or Nim Tao/Nim Lik. Nim/Lim Tao - our consciousness of our own thoughts (Yi Lim) - the heart has memories. Do you have this idea/mindset? we all have heart, but do we have the right idea/mindset? We have a mind but do we have the idea? This awareness is what we need to learn. Form a habit by practicing the idea/mindset until this becomes an unconscious action (program). Practice being determined to stay still (concentration) to train your consciousness/wisdom. First sense the incoming movement/attack to avoid random movements of your own by being still to perform efficient counters and attacks when warranted. Understand the weakness of your opponents. Reminds us of fighting whilst standing but not to ignore the requirements of these details. Do not anticipate or try to achieve the desired result - we have to pay attention to meeting the requirements of each section of our body structure. With the structural requirements holistically met, the power/output will be limitless. The above is only to help you understand the certain mindset that you require to become the State. FEELING AND LIVING IN A CONSTANTLY HIGH SPIRITUAL INTENTION AMPLIFIES THE POWER OUTPUT. Having the right mindset, allows the practitioner to understand the key principles of this phenomenon. Hope this helps. Pleasure to grow with you all. LETS LEVEL UP TOGETHER!
