Traditional martial arts do not only focus on training the body, or the acquisition and consolidation of combat techniques. A strong body and fine technique mean little if the spirit is not strong, and the mind cannot be perceptive and detached...!

A Course in Miracles😇
Have you checked it out ”A Course in Miracles” (aka ACIM).. it’s free and you can read it or listen to it.. I prefer to listen while I am walking with my dogs. The link to the first lesson is below.. https://acim.org/acim/lesson-1/nothing-i-see-means-anything/en/s/403 I have been going through these lessons and contemplating them each day for 3 months or so and they never fail to blow my mind as well as bring on an intense sense of peace. What’s more amazing is that sometimes I sit with a lesson for days at a time and keep contemplating on it as well as doing the form’s that it explains. This has been pretty cool and a great way to clarify the connection to my highest self/spiritual intention/quantum field/the dao/the universe/mother earth/ the Holy Spirit… whichever term resonates most with you. This clarity has even made its way into my state training. Often, during state training meditations I have experienced images, scenes, phrases, feelings and ideas from ACIM flowing to and through me. This has been quite an uplifting experience when this happens and the knock on effect is that it has also flowed into my Kung Fu practice. Feeling a deep sense of peace, whilst under pressure during Chi Sau is so cool! I posted this to share with my Wing Chu Family, so that you can also experience the clarity that ACIM brings.. it feels good! 🕊️❤️🥋
