Selling is Serving
I can't emphasize enough how refreshing it was going through S.A.L.E.S., coming from the traditional sales experience, I never felt comfortable having transactional relationships. I see sales as the skill of building relationships on trust. Older sales tactics used to teach you to focus on closing and not building long-term value. SA Academy approach is reminding me that its okay to take your time building the relationship, caring about your prospects and ultimately serving their needs.
This is what I like to call, selling with purpose. We're not here just for the money, we're here to help others and align them to new opportunities. Which is why its so important to be passionate about the product/service your providing or at least the industry you're in, as you can't sell what you don't believe in. Selling with passion and vision, goes a long way.
