I’ve been posting for a while about how I’ve been wanting to increase my daily step count. I tend to front load my day with activity, then become quite non active for the bulk of the day (at the desk all day, then driving kids around in the evenings ). I’ve been averaging 4000-6000steps most days.
Yesterday I clocked 14,500 steps! This is how I did it :
✅ 10min walk before training
✅ 20min walk post training
✅ Intentionally parked at the back of the lot instead of near the door (trust me - I like me a good game of getting the closest parking spot, so this took effort)
✅ Walked up and down the stairs at home when normally I would ask the kids to do the running for me.
✅ Midday family walk in the sun - this was the best part of my day!
✅ puttering around doing Housework
I was floored how many steps that added up to. A little bit here and there , staying active all day, will jack those numbers up!
