Holiday Balance
Alright, folks, we’re well into December, and this is the time when burnout tends to peak. With energy running low, willpower can falter, making it easy to slip into old habits—those little licks, bites, and tastes that can add up quickly. This can lead to a cycle of poor choices and unnecessary guilt.
Instead of letting the season derail you, focus on finding Holiday Balance. Prioritize mindful decisions, stay consistent with your goals, and remember: a small misstep doesn’t define your journey. Let’s navigate this week with intention and finish the year strong!
My consistency action plan this week is to increase my steps by 2000/day on 5/7 days. I find in my training days I move less!! So- I’m throwing in an additional 15min walk to get those steps in. Ideally I’d like to do it on my lunch break, but I haven’t been too successful with that lately- so I’ll do it first thing in the am before training (doubles as a warmup). This will require me to get to the gym 10min earlier. Totally doable!!
What balancing act are you committing to this week? Share here so we can all stay in the mindset with you. What gets written gets done.
