Why I can't train for 6 months.
So from past two months, I've been dealing with clavicle pain whenever I did dips or bench press. I don't know what caused it, but it has gotten worse ever since. Yesterday, I consulted a doctor, did an x-ray to check for any stress fractures. Thankfully, there was none, but since I had already visited him a month ago and he had told me to stop doing dips for a month, I did. When I got back to training, the pain was still there, but slightly better, so I thought it was a good sign and slowly regained the momentum, unfortunately the pain got worse. The doctor said not to train dips and bench press. But in calisthenics, dips are a must. For 6 months I won't be able to do dips and bench, but I can do exercises like inclined dumbbell press and maybe cable flys. What do you guys suggest? Should I stop training dips and bench for 6months or do you think it's ridiculous to stop training for so long like I do. Also, if you guys can tell any alternatives to dips, that would be helpful.
PS - (I can train other muscle groups as hard as I used to, so that won't be a problem for me.)
