@Christine Szinner said something so brilliant a few weeks ago that it hasn't left my head since. She was sharing her story with me. Christine said that the turning point for her making lasting change was realizing that it isn't about what she is DOING but who she is BEING. 🤯🤯🤯 It was one of those deceptively simple but actually profound statements that changed everything. It took root deep within my psyche and blossomed from there. She shifted my beliefs with that one sentence! This morning, I caught myself policing my behavior. I know that going for a walk first thing in the morning is one of the best things I can do for myself. It sets my day up for success in a way that nothing else can. But lately, I haven't been going. I've felt tired in the morning. "I'll walk later," I'll say. But many days, later never comes! This morning, I caught myself. "I don't wanna," and all the associated negative self-talk ("Why are you so lazy?") quickly turned into "Who do you want to BE?" The answer came instantly. I want to be the person who sets herself up for success as soon as she gets out of bed. 💪🏼 Suddenly, a walk sounded wonderful, and I wanted nothing more! Thank you, Christine, for helping me be the Leader I want to be. 💖
