Saturday morning, I laced up my shoes and ran my first 5K. 🏃♀️💨 Was it easy? Absolutely f*ckin not. There were moments I actually wanted to cry, my asthma be asthma-innggg, my mind doubted, I cursed out louuuudddd, like the hulk, and I wanted to stop because people be passing by or to far ahead of me.. (Also the fact I did not know what to expect I thought it was straight, but it was trail running and uphill..🥵) But here's the thing: growth happens in those tough moments, when you push through the discomfort and finding new ways to up level yourself. Running a 5K is a reminder that it's not just about crossing the finish line. It’s about showing up for yourself, even when you don't feel like it, and proving that you're stronger than your excuses (which I almost didn't go to the event, but I made a promise). 💪 We all have those “I don’t feel like it” days, but that day was a reminder that the hard things are what make us stronger. Every little step each day, and every bit of crying is a win. I did actually finish with my normal time of trail runs so I didn't really fail either!! Keep pushing, keep going, and trust that the hard things will lead to something greater. ✨
