PB’s make a happy swimmer
My daughter Ava, had a full schedule of racing this weekend. 5 Pbs from 7 races: - 400m free 4:56.71 - 50m free 30.33 - 100m fly 1:14.25 - 200m free 2:20.00 - 200IM 2:38.92 Just off her Pb in the 100m breast, needs to attack the stroke more! and 100 free, last race of a long weekend and identified she was breathing too much. Super happy with her performances - visualisation and breathing techniques working well.

@Steven Sims 🤣 get it right Dad! And never add time to a PB!
comp day 1
today was day 1 of the comp I have been preparing for all season. my last comp to achieve my goals this year and my last chance to qualify for counties in the 200 breaststroke 100m IM - 4 sec pb which I was so happy as I only did it 1month ago 50m breast - 0.6 sec pb which I only just swam it 2 weeks ago so I was glad 200m breast the event that meant the most to me. 3 sec pb🥈 but 1 sec off my county goal time. I was so annoyed as I have honestly worked harder than anyone and wanted it so bad. even my coach said when I came up to him in September saying I want this county time I was 20 sec away. in 3 months I knocked off 19 sec just ti be 1 sec away. that's what hurts me the most seeing how close I was. the first 100 went amazing and I was 3 sec faster than the split last time I did it. I said to myself when I was seimming that I'm going to get this but I didn't. I felt so defeated I just broke down afterwards as I wanted it so bad and to just get so close was so infuriating. I have another day to go tomorow which includes some of my worst events so that will be fun to try and get through haha but just wanted to share as not everything goes according to plan always

You should be so proud of yourself for your Day 1 results. Really! It's so so tough you got so close on the one you really wanted but love David's comment that you didn't fail, it just didn't happen in the timeline you wanted. You just haven't done it YET. I hope Day 2 went OK for you ❤️
Why Does My Swimmer Fall Apart in the Call Room...?
You’ve seen it happen. The nerves take over. Fidgeting hands, darting eyes, shallow breaths. By the time they walk out, it’s like they’ve already lost the race in their mind. It’s frustrating. It’s heartbreaking. And you feel powerless to help. I know, been there :( But it doesn’t have to be this way. Join my live training "Call Room Mastery" and learn how to stay calm and confident when it matters most. Only 13 spots left. Don’t wait. 👉 Register here PS: If you can't make the live training, drop a ✅ in the comments and I'll send you the recording.

Season's 1st LC Results...woow!!
I am so excited to share with you Rigas's (2013) NEW PBs!! He just had (30Nov-1Dec) his 1st LC competition ("PAO Trophy '24") for this season. ** Breast 200m: Pay off time 03:09.99 (PB 03:16.71, June 24). NEW PB 03:05.50, Dec '24 (🥇) ** Ind. Medley 200m: Pay off time 02:49.99 (PB 02:57.43 May 2024). NEW PB 02:49.29, Dec 24 (🥈) ** Fly 100m: PB 01:29.51 (Jan 24). NEW PB 01:20.70, Dec 24 (🥇) He told me (exactly his words): "I could not possible imagine that I could outperform so good!!". He really enjoyed the experience!! He is so "upregulated"!! @David Karasek Many thanks from Rigas and me!! Respect! He has to update his Strategy Circle for March '25!

Wooo hooo - great results!🙌
A win also without a medal!
My kid started swimming competitively just few months ago. Before his races he was always very stressed and afraid of coming out of the pool last. This caused him a lot of stress... He has been applying the breathing technique constantly and in the last race last week hel told me that he was much more focused on himself and not on others and he managed to swim better; in fact his PB improved of a couple of seconds. He came out of the pool second to last, but happy with himself! So a big win even without a medal!!!!
