It’ll be a tough one today
My workout for today will be a tough one, physically and emotionally. One of our dogs is 15 and we have to put her down. She can barely walk, yelps in pain in the middle of the night and barely eats. So, today’s workout is digging a hole in our backyard in cold, snowy NY for her final resting place.

Another glorious day
Well another workout jump rope. KB waiter carry traveling lunges 100 ft. Banded traveling rack carry side lunges 50 ft each side. Walk variations. Double waiter, double rack, double farmer 100 ft ea. Single goblet 100 ft. Offset weight heavy/light light/heavy double waiter, rack and farmer. 50ft ea. 10 ea side sinlge & double 5# hammer standing wood chop. 10 each side 5# hammer golf swings . 36# double suit case deadlift. Some Rotational power work. 36# single deadlift.

I use to do a lot of jumping rope with a weighted rope. With lots of KB swings I’m not sure I need the extra ‘cardio’ so I haven’t done it recently. Maybe in the spring I’ll start again to help get me more cut for summer.
Back on it!
This is the time of year that most people pack on that awful 5-10 lbs of “holiday weight”. I’m pleading with you to commit to NOT letting that happen! After feasting line we all did yesterday, it’s time to get RIGHT BACK on the wagon and grinding our way to the success we all want. So here’s to living the disciplined life that yields the results we ALL yearn for!!! Hands Up…KEEP FIGHTING!!!

I am filling a binder with your workouts. When I find one I really like (most of them) I type it on my computer , print it out, and put it in a binder. That’s what I use when I’m not sure what workout I feel like doing on a particular day.
Focus on THIS
Wife sent me this earlier today and it IMMEDIATELY made me think of you guys! Far too often we place too much care and consideration into things that just don’t matter. This creates sometimes crippling levels of anxiety. The facts are, so much of the things that we stress about in life are outside our control. I’m not saying be apathetic on items that you don’t have any control in, but I would urge you all to do your level best moving forward to shelf the things that you cannot. I’m telling you right now, your level of stress will reduce ten fold, and your ability to think clearly will take off!

My wife has anxiety and I tell her that all the time. If you can’t change it try not to worry about it and spend your energy working on what you can change.
