Who is your favorite Saint and why?
There's so many stories, and I feel like we never know enough about the saints 🙂 So share your favorite! Mine is probably St. Magnus, a Viking. His family were pagan raiders and he refused to participate in their antics. He held true to his Faith till the end, eventually being slain by his cousin after a betrayal. A lot saints are English, German, French, Italian, etc. so it's cool to learn about one that's a Viking ⛵⚔ Share one of your favorites!

St Christopher is my confirmation saint. People have always looked at him as the patron saint of safe travel. I look to him as an example of strength to face life’s adversities. Carrying christ on his back whilst nearly drowning in a river illustrates how the Christian life can be tough. But we know the end goal when we push through. 💪🏼
My Thoughts on Supplements
An interesting fact is that the supplement industry is bigger than the fitness industry in the US. Why? People like the easier route more than they do the hard route ❌ But the truth is..supplements are just that. They SUPPLEMENT! If you trained correctly, ate correctly, slept, and drank your water...That would be 99% of the game. But with that, there are a few supplements I would recommend to give you that little push. And those are: 1️⃣ Whey Protein 2️⃣ Creating Monohydrate 3️⃣ Pre-workout Most people significantly undereat the amount of protein their body needs, so whey protein is always a solid idea. Take 1-2 scoops per day. As for creatine, it can increase mass, allow you to hold more water, which will help you push more weight and get stronger. Finally, pre-workout is great to stimulate you before your workout. A little extra energy can make get that one or two extra reps, and lead to more muscle growth 💪 To Conclude - Don't rely on supplements but the few mentioned above can give you an extra push 👍

What are your thoughts on magnesium tablets and fat burners?
THE VISION - 25 YEARS
I’ve taken Joe’s advice and sat down, thought about what I really want to accomplish (externally - see my Letter to Self for internal/spiritual goals) over the long term, found images for those goals, and created a vision board which I’m putting on my wall to look at every morning. It was a liberating process, forcing me to face my fears of material success and over-ambition and take the imaginary reigns on my life. It’s somewhat ridiculous, especially for a college kid, that’s what anybody would think about the goals of great men. Now, I am using this vision to build short-term goals for accomplishing them. I recommend this process for all (see “classroom” tab of community).

I love this man! Seize the moment 💪🏼
Intro
My name is Greg. I am from California, but hope to move to another state eventually. I do my best to be a devout catholic and attend Latin mass and like it, but am OK with going to novus ordo. I've been into fitness since I started lifting in high school and am always open to trying new workouts. Since high school I have stayed in decent shape, but have gained 40 pounds. My biggest strength is my work ethic when I have it and my physical strength. I will kill myself with hard physical work before quitting. My biggest weakness is the fact that I have ADHD and everything that goes with it.

I'd say ADHD to complete your workouts is a blessing 😁!
Greetings From "Ponzoman"
Hi. My name is Alfons Kristianto. You can call me Alfons or Karjo. I'm from Jakarta Indonesia. Honestly, I'm curious and have been looking for self-build communities which can be open and constructive in right ways especially that based on Catholic values. I have been thinking that I have a Calls from Him. I think I need to fulfill those. However, I realize I'm still very weak. I hope we can support one another in many aspects especially in faiths. In addition, have blissful day for you. Since this is Sunday, have blissful Sunday Mass too. God bless all of us here.
