Ghosting Audience questions -
Ghosting Audience questions - Hi All, I had a major health issues last May that caused me to lose my sight in 1 eye. I took a HUGE step back in my business and haven't sent out any emails. How do I start again? Do I email them with the story or just act like everything is okay? I would prefer to not repeat the story and have a bunch of people responding but not sure how to handle the large absents. I have been in the same industry online for 7+ years

@Judith Joubert and @Melody Bockelman , I know this person and LOVE her. I was happy to hear from her again. Never once was I like ā€œhow dare you ghost me and fly back in expecting me to accept you with open arms!ā€ In case that helps - I think most of our folks rarely notice weā€™re gone and are intrigued or even happy when we come back.
how I made sales while I was OOO šŸ–ļø
I made 137 course sales while I was on vacation for a week - but I had to prep and plan for that to happen! Read on to see exactly what I did, step by step. Let me start off by saying, I am NOT a "batching" person šŸ˜‚ I do not batch a month of content in advance, I do not pre-write my emails, I don't think that far ahead to be honest! But I made a commitment to selling every day (and making sales every day). (Ahem, exactly what we're doing inā€‹ Evergreen Every Dayā€‹). So when I knew I was going to be completely Out Of Office, off-the-grid on vacation at the lake for a week, I made a plan and ran a test šŸ–ļø My hypothesis? "Could I make sales every day and still "sell every day" while completely off, if I pre-scheduled everything in advance?" My daily "Revenue Routine" usually takes 1 hour a day (the checklist of tasks I do each day to make daily sales - ā€‹I explained more hereā€‹). But I knew I wouldn't even be able to do that each day. So I buckled down before I left for vacation and forced myself to batch 1 week's worth of email content. In total, I wrote and scheduled 5 emails (to different segments of my list, I'll explain more below). It took me about 3 hours to pre-write and pre-schedule everything in advance. The results? [SEE ATTACHED] ā¬‡ļø *90 "orders" = 137 individual product/course sales. One "order" includes when someone buys multiple products as order bumps + upsells in the same purchase Let's break down the HOW: āœ… I pre-wrote and pre-scheduled 5 emails in advance. āœ… I used A/B tested subject lines and "resend to unopens" in order to maximize my results from my effort (seriously, you are sleeping on "resend to unopens". That's a $ tip right there!) āŒ I didn't worry about other channels and platforms while I was out - I didn't post on social media or in my community, I didn't do a lot of the other things I have in my usual Revenue Routine. Email was my priority and just focused on that.

@Aprille Reed yup! Iā€™d prefer to batch a week, ideally a month in advance. I usually end up doing a hybrid of batching and on the fly between social posts, emails etc. I feel I need a batching mastermind/co-working group where we just sit and work for 3 - 4 hours a day each week/month. THATā€™S a biz idea for someoneā€¦lol

@Aprille Reed oh wow! Can you share or DM me the name? Iā€™d be interested in checking it out at some point. Thx!
Imposter reality?
I'm interested to know your thoughts on imposter syndrome and when in fact it is actually the reality of the situation? For example, when I first started online, I labelled myself as a coach. I drank the Kool aid about you don't need to be a trained coach to make money as a coach. I limped along for a while but then moved over into Va work then eventually copywriting. I had imposter syndrome then, but I think it was actually the reality of the situation - I was in no position to coach anyone. When do you know if the feelings/resistance you have aren't just YOU feeling not good enough, vs actually not having the right skills or experience to do the thing?

Such a good question! I think a good litmus test is seeing if you can create an ethical and honest sales page without embellishing. When someone asks, ā€œwhatā€™s your experience?ā€ Can you only say, ā€œIā€™ve read books, watched YT videos, and had personal experiences with this issue.ā€ These might be signs that you genuinely donā€™t have the expertise. With that said, we all have to start somewhere. If you can say, ā€œhey, Iā€™m wanting experience in this area. Can I please provide this service for you to get some experience?ā€ or better yet, if thereā€™s a reputable program you *can* join to get the experience, join it so you can genuinely say you have training and experience (as most reputable programs will guide you on how to get experience). To sum up, if you donā€™t have trained skills or experience to provide a service youā€™re providing, itā€™s likely not imposter syndrome, itā€™s likely your conscience. If you do have those, its likely Imposter syndrome

@Peppa Georgieff great question to ask yourself to help move forward!
Created Champagne Content and got a Champagne Lead
I followed the advice in Mariah's Champaign Client course and scheduled out my first piece of champagne content. It was a newsletter/blog post about Mariah's podcast funnel (because it's excellent, obviously). Within one hour of the newsletter going out, I had someone reply asking for my rates to solve the problem I had outlined! šŸ„³

BAM! šŸ’„
Champagne Client Q
I watched the training but Iā€™m still unclear who my CC is. Iā€™m a psychologist and family coach who helps parents and couples break free from what I like to call, ā€œstable miseryā€ - theyā€™re not in crisis but they are unfulfilled, unhappy, and unclear how to move forward in their partnership and/or parenting. They often want to raise their kids differently then they were raised and want to co-create a marriage thatā€™s different than what was modeled for them. My audience/folks who raise their hands to join my program are often stay at home moms, professionals/physicians/attorneys, and entrepreneurs. The latter two audiences (professionals and entrepreneurs) often feel theyā€™re nailing it professionally but failing it at home. The continuum doesnā€™t seem to fit me. Theyā€™re not trying to go from 0 per month to 7 figures. Any help on finding my continuum would be awesome. Thx! @Mariah Coz

@Mariah Coz So, first step - creating the - *full spectrum* of your clients journey (thank you so much for doing that @Michelle Lagaly šŸ„°) . Realize your CC - will likely not be at one end or the other. For instance, *your* client journey spectrum may be 0 figs to 8 figs. Your CC may be the clients striving to go from 6 figs to 7 figs (so you write content for the 6 fig client that wants to make 7 figs). But the end of your scale is 8 figs because thatā€™s the optimal end of your CC journey (from their perspectiveā€¦ where they wanna end up). This is why my CC would be stage 4-5 on Michelleā€™s 0 to 10 version of my scale. Is this correct?
