I wouldn’t recommend trying. Many wealthy and successful people come from lower class backgrounds and sound like it. That doesn’t stop them attending exclusive events or networking with other wealthy people. Many people will be able to tell if you are faking for accent, especially for long periods of time. I’m not an expert, but it’s easy to tell when someone’s pretending to be something they’re not. It seems unnecessary unless you want to get into acting or voiceovers.
Finding Your Purpose vs. Building Your Identity
Find your purpose" is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot in men's self-development circles. But I've noticed that many men struggle with this saying, "I don't know what my purpose is." They often feel directionless, lack motivation, or talk about doing things without following through. From my own experience, I’ve realised that focusing on something tangible, like fitness, can be a great starting point. Fitness is often cited as a cornerstone for building discipline and momentum in life. As Stefan Aarnio discusses in Hard Times Create Strong Men, a man’s purpose is deeply connected to his work to consistently push forward and create value. But here’s the thing: before finding purpose, I believe it’s more important to focus on identity. Your identity is the foundation of who you are. It’s about understanding how you see yourself, how you respond to challenges, and what your strengths and weaknesses are. This self-awareness gives you a clearer picture of what drives you, and from that, purpose often emerges naturally. From my own journey, I’ve found that it’s rare to meet people who are truly living out a "purpose." However, the ones who succeed are often those who’ve built a resilient identity one rooted in persistence, discipline, and the refusal to quit. So, what do you think? Is it more important to focus on building your identity first, with purpose following naturally? Or should we be aiming to "find our purpose" right away? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

What steps can one take to build their identity?
Learning languages
Guys I want to learn French or Italian . But Duolingo isn't quite good . What strategy do you guys use to learn new language . My current strategy is to learn 100 most used word in that language and then try to speak by joining these words . I would love to hear , what other strategy can be used to learn a new language . Love to hear your thoughts .

Learning languages takes a lot of time and commitment. You need good motivation for that language (travel, business etc.) otherwise you’ll struggle to stay consistent. Try talking to people in that language. That’s supposedly the best way to learn using apps like Italki. You do need a little base knowledge first though.
How do I train sprints?
Kris recommends sprints as part of his fitness advice. How would you say we should implement this? What programme structure? How many? How much rest? etc. Or does it not matter, is any sprinting at all good enough? I’d love to hear what you guys think, especially those of you who have already implemented sprints in your routine.

Opinions on a career
I know that the 1STMAN brand promotes entrepreneurship. I am 17, and have received a job offer to study as an apprentice to become a Chartered Tax Accountant. The top jobs in these professions can earn well over £200,000/y, and many also start their own firm to advise clients. My question is, would climbing the corporate ladder still achieve outlier man status? I understand the obvious cons: no time or geographical freedom, but if I progress, could I get to a point where I reach this freedom. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

@Chad Marquise it’s a great book. I guess this is a slowlane mentality I suppose.
