Thank you very much @Shameem Fathima and to A and M who hosted the meeting and led the discussion. ❤️ I loved how you highlighted how the author of 'Thunderstruck 'wrote several books, mostly in libraries. I am sure that motivated many of us to go find a quiet place and get work done. We also heard from the fabulous L, @Mansi Jain's son who is writing two books, one with his friends and one by himself. That was super inspiring L and has given me so much hope for my book! We learnt a new word 'poltergeist'- does anyone know what it is? Maybe you can find out? Hey, all those who signed up for our 5-day Creative writing challenge and all of you on the OS program- we are having to postpone the Creative Writing challenge to the beginning of July. I am so sorry for this. Hello Everyone, Hope you all are enjoying the sunshine 🌞 and had a chance to witness stunning display of Northern Lights 🎆 My name is Kasthuri. I am mother of 2 kids and an IT Consultant. Me and my son are excited to do the presidential role for this month. The book we have chosen is Title: The Runaways Author: Megan Rix It is an animal adventure 🐘🦮🐎 book set during First World War time period. It is an interesting read as we have learnt how animals have been an integral part in human life and how they survived during difficult times. We would like to discuss the same with you all. We are sure you would have read/come across books of similar kind. Can I ask you to recollect what animal adventure books you have read and think about the ways how animals have helped humans. Also we have learnt some vocabulary referring to animals. e.g. Dogs and Sheeps are referred using different words in books and comprehension texts. I need your responses to get started. 👑I will need a book club president for every week so who’s interested to chair the club for our first meeting? 👑Is @11:30 on the first Sunday every month ok for everyone? Once I hear from you, I’ll sort out the book club manifesto and docs that members can use. If you are interested in your child taking part in the book club and you are not enrolled in our parents 11+ OS course, you can join on a monthly subscription from 1st May or a one off fee for a year.
