What is THE important thing you can do for your child?
This week has been such a roller coaster with my personal life. My son finished his tests and is off on a holiday. The house is empty, and the cats are lost, hot and bothered- honestly, I am as well. I need to get away from this emptiness echoing in me and around me. So I have thrown myself into work mode. Apart from my interest in parenting and education, I do a few other things like property investment and management so things have been busy! I have been posting creative writing prompts with book references throughout the week. You can find them when you scroll through this community page. So this week I have finished/on course to finish 💥 sending emails to our mailing list to remind them of our book club meeting this Sunday with the lovely @Shameem Fathima . All details here OS community. DON'T FORGET- 30th June, 4pm 💥 the 50-page Creative Writing workbook that we are offering to parents who have signed up for it. 💥 emailing all who signed up to our creative writing challenge starting on July 1st with a Zoom link. @Mandy Broomhead and I are so excited about the challenge! 💥 putting together a revision plan template for July, August and September where parents get a revision plan with topics, and strategies to revise including things like tackling mistakes. All resources will be collated in the 'Revision' module 💥 revising the 'Mindset' module in the OS program with additional techniques to help children cope with the pressure and stress of exams. 💥 an interview with the lovely Charlotte Watson on the various ways to help children improve their well-being and balance exam pressure with mindfulness. 💥 Putting together something exciting for tutors and parents so they can find their best-matched tutors without the stress.
