HUGE announcement!
Hey gang! Not everyone was able to make the Live Call today, so I wanted to share some updates here in Skool so you're all in the loop. First, we wanted to let you know that although we are nearing the 40-day mark, this is just the BEGINNING. Our plan at Freedomology is to keep doing these sprints and invite more people to join. Eventually, we'll do F40 (a 40-day financial sprint) and R40 (a 40-day sprint to better relationships), but for now, we are going to run H40 again. And again. And again. YOU all are the H40 OG's, the original cohort, the early committed. And we are looking to YOU to help shape what H40 becomes. Your feedback is so valuable to us, so THANK YOU for all you've shared throughout your experience. Our next sprint is July 15th, and we'll invite many more people to join this community. Which brings me to Skool. This community is not going away after the 40 days are over. Again, this is just the beginning. Our vision is to grow this community to be a global MOVEMENT of people dedicated to better health, relationships, and finances. After July's sprint, we'll run H40 again on October 10th, World Mental Health day. In addition to that, we're putting together a bonus module for H40, you can expect that in the coming weeks. We're also putting together a carb-fasting cookbook and a carb-fasting app, so you will never have to wonder what to eat on your carb-fasting days again! And lastly, next week, there will be another survey coming your way like there was at the beginning of the sprint. If you fill out this survey, you'll get a free H40 T-Shirt! There's lots to be excited about, and we are just getting started. Thanks for being part of the first H40 cohort, and here's to many more!

Thanks Greg and Tony for your wisdom and knowledge. The information has been valuable. I survived 40 days with NO alcohol, minimal sugar, minimal gluten and developed some great habits that I plan to continue. I also survived a 3-day cleanse (not easy). I plan to complete the survey and share my thoughts 😉 The sprint is over, but the marathon has just begun!!

Health and Wellness
Re-reading last week's module before the new. I worked at a Healthfood store many years ago in Oviedo FL. The owner was also my trainer. It is overwhelming navigating all the supplements available. I tried many different supplements, some gave immediate results, (meaning I was deficient in that vitamin/mineral), some took longer, (my body was damaged), and some did nothing but make my stomachache. We all need to listen to our bodies, listening also means you are taking time for yourself. This entire set of modules, Greg and his team are creating, read to me, as a reminder to take time for myself, and take better care of myself. Before reading the next module, (I am not a watch videos kind of gal, I like to read), I wanted to share, I take 3 supplements total. An organic multivitamin for women over the age of 50, an organic hormonal supplement (a bit pricey), that has helped with my energy levels thru out the day, and magnesium (every other day). I hope this information helps someone out there, some of us are struggling more than others (I am up at 5 am and home at 5pm, I struggle with finding time for exercising). Looking forward to the rest module. If I can get some sleep, I think my struggle will lessen!!

I’m with you June … I need SLEEP!!!
Sugar + Sweets
Good morning up and ADAM TIPS ON HOW TO APPROACH SUGAR 1. You don’t have to eliminate sugar from your diet if you are doing H40 the crazy way then you are eliminating SAG sugar, alcohol, and gluten. That may be unsustainable for most people long-term. 2. Definitely eat sugar and sweets at the end of a meal, and try not to snack on them. This will significantly reduce a blood sugar spike. 3. Try berberine or a shot of apple cider vinegar before your meal and that will enhance the reduction and blood sugar pretty significantly 4. I do not eat sugar on carb fasting days 5. This may sound crazy, but I think some people may be allergic to sugar. I notice when I eat more than a little sugar I get an almost immediate joint and inflammation response. To be allergic to something you need to have an immune response, but if something immediately changes your body for the worse then why do we do it? Pay attention to how sugar makes you feel 6. Maybe try experimenting with the continuous blood glucose monitor. For me that was an eye-opener. Sugar in the form of a donut, candy bar, big chocolate milkshake, these things give me an almost immediate blood glucose spike, and then crash and I just feel lethargic afterwards. 7. I think this is something you need to test for yourself, and consume in moderation to satisfy the craving!
