Forget the Rules: Why Designing Your Own Health Plan Is the Game-Changer
If you’re constantly feeling overwhelmed by meal plans, workout schedules, or health rules that seem impossible to follow, you’re not alone. That stress is a sign something’s missing. 🤔 Many of us set out to be healthier, only to find ourselves drowning in rules and routines that don’t fit our lives. 😵‍💫 Each week feels like a battle to keep up, and each slip-up brings feelings of guilt and frustration. 🥬Health shouldn’t feel like another burden, but for so many, it does. Real transformation happens when you design a lifestyle that feels like it supports you instead of overwhelming you. 👇 Imagine waking up with a sense of peace, knowing your choices are in harmony with your life rather than clashing with it. When you stop trying to fit your life into a ‘perfect plan’ and let it fit around you, that’s when real freedom begins. 🪁 Have you experienced that feeling of “health routine burnout”? What do you think would make a health plan truly fit your lifestyle? Share your thoughts below—I’d love to hear what matters most to you in making sustainable lifestyle changes. 😉

You had me at "forget the rules"! I tend to rebel when I'm "supposed" to be doing something.
Who are you BEing?
@Christine Szinner said something so brilliant a few weeks ago that it hasn't left my head since. She was sharing her story with me. Christine said that the turning point for her making lasting change was realizing that it isn't about what she is DOING but who she is BEING. 🤯🤯🤯 It was one of those deceptively simple but actually profound statements that changed everything. It took root deep within my psyche and blossomed from there. She shifted my beliefs with that one sentence! This morning, I caught myself policing my behavior. I know that going for a walk first thing in the morning is one of the best things I can do for myself. It sets my day up for success in a way that nothing else can. But lately, I haven't been going. I've felt tired in the morning. "I'll walk later," I'll say. But many days, later never comes! This morning, I caught myself. "I don't wanna," and all the associated negative self-talk ("Why are you so lazy?") quickly turned into "Who do you want to BE?" The answer came instantly. I want to be the person who sets herself up for success as soon as she gets out of bed. 💪🏼 Suddenly, a walk sounded wonderful, and I wanted nothing more! Thank you, Christine, for helping me be the Leader I want to be. 💖

@Christine Szinner I suppose we had to do that to end up here. But relieved that is all in the rear view mirror!

@Christine Szinner you should be proud! You've really outdone yourself.
Doing vs Being
@Theresa Lang's great post on doing vs being (https://www.skool.com/bethechange/who-are-you-being?p=07d61d4e) reminded me of a video I recorded that's part of the Activated component of the Illuminator (if you don't know what I mean by Illuminator or Activated, come check out The Primer in the classroom tab in my group) that talked about this subject, and identifying the being-orientated solution rather than just be fixated with the doing, which is what the video shows. Have a watch, see what you think - can you relate examples from your life in the same manner? https://drive.google.com/file/d/10P9D7Ti0r_1zlEf7G0f1C78ucjxoh4tM/view?usp=sharing

@Christine Szinner my mom always said "you are who you hang out with." Of course, I did not like this advice as a teenager! 🤣 Turns out mom was right!

@Christine Szinner but shhhhh don't TELL her she was right! 🤣
This 11 year old gets it…!
I just saw this brilliant video about an 11-year old who learned to bring value by solving problems with a simple service. ChangeMaker vibes here. Love it! Great lesson to share with my kids and a good slap upside the head reminder for me. 🧂 😍 What do you think? https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_EEnMrOqs8/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

I used a Captain Jack quote in my masterclass yesterday! "The problem isn't the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem."
