@Angus Bradley ahhh so is the idea kinda that all movement starts and ends with expansion?

Also, yeah the ER aesthetic is certainly for making you seem larger than life, makes lines straighter and longer. Very expressive
Sprinter’s pool workout??
Hey guys! I’m looking for any sort of basic pool workout that a track sprinter might do. I’m not doing much sprinting rn just to let my Achilles rehabilitate. But since it’s summer, I’m interested in doing a lil pool workout here and there for the vibes. So, anybody know of a good pool workout that might entertain me?

@Jack Edwards love it! You think this can be done while dealing with Achilles tendonitis? I’m thinking so since it the focus is more on the flexion than extension probably?

@Jack Edwards will do! Thank you.

@Angus Bradley ahhh that makes sense. I saw London Victor share it saying “let’s do the 1600m @Fred Kerley” and Fred said “let’s go!” 😂😂
Load management in plyometric training
can you guys suggest/outline/ point me to some sources on how to manage plyometric/sprinting training load based on tendon issues? Are there any specific protocols around tendons in particular (considering tendons seem to have latent responses to load that also change when warmed up)? or is the general rule of deloading, allowing natural history to take over, then graded exposure the way to go here?

I’ve been trying to learn a lot about this through my own Achilles tendon issue currently. It’s taking a lot of experimenting but what’s mainly helped is doing whatever is necessary to not aggravate the tendon. At first this looked like no plyos at all, just calf raises but even too many of those or doing those with too much ROM would aggravate it. So it was Calf raises from flat and some bent knee plantar flexing isos. Then a couple weeks later I started putting some very easy plyos in after warming up with calf raises or isos. I’m currently able to wake up with hardly any pain walking on it. Now I’m doing a couple sets of low level plyos each day and stopping just before I start to feel anything in the Achilles. When I get too excited and push it, I limp out of bed the next AM

@Sean Duffield for sure. It’s sucked to deal with, but I’m learning a lot! Load management has been everything.
Craziest Hybrid Feat
Just curious, what’s the craziest “Hybrid” feat you’ve seen/heard of? We’re seeing a lot of cool strength/endurance feats but I’m curious of any other ones y'all might be coming across.

@Abhishek Kumar ahhhh I think I’ve seen some posts of this guy. Very cool and possibly a great example of what happens if you just keep it all in the program for a very long time
