Ghrelin without hunger?
Hi, I have a question about Ghrelin. If I understand it correct is Ghrelin the forerunner of Human Growth Hormone HGH. Hunger is a sign of Ghrelin taking action but what if you aren't hungry? I'm seldom hungry and ask myself if Ghrelin still are at work even if I don't feel the hunger? I use to eat dinner at 5 pm and then lunch the next day around 1pm. I'm not hungry but I run out of energy.

Remember this…
If you start your day with carbohydrates for breakfast, your body will adapt and crave carbs throughout the day. Breakfast sets the stage for your brain’s neurotransmitters for the rest of the day. So, if you feed it oatmeal, cereal, toast, fruit, fruit juice, granola, breakfast bars, pancakes, waffles, honey, jam, or any other carb-heavy option, you’re essentially signing up for a full day of carb cravings. This is why some of the fitness enthusiasts I’ve worked with struggle with constant hunger and food addiction. That seemingly harmless ‘oats for breakfast’ sets off a chain reaction of problems. Try steak and eggs for breakfast and see if you still feel the need for those six small meals a day.

Not hungry in the morning anymore. A great carnivore dinner late afternoon makes me feel so great I don’t need breakfast the next morning 😊
