Lifting straps?!🧐
Red5 Tribe, Lifting straps can be a game-changer for handling those heavy weight sets where grip strength might otherwise hold you back. Personally, I think they’re great for allowing you to focus on the lift itself rather than worrying about grip failure. However, I also believe it’s important to use them strategically and not rely on them all the time—working on your grip strength is still crucial. You can train your forearms specifically with exercises like farmers walk or wrist curls! Do you use lifting straps regularly or just for specific lifts? Red 5

I want to check out lifting straps but can’t decide on what type. My grip strength has been improving doing stuff without them but it’s too far behind the rest of my body to keep relying on it lol
Working Out for 3 hours 🤔
Hey all, I've worked out for 3 hours sometime (with about an hour of yapping lol) Also 30 minutes when im in a rush. Just curious as to what timeframe you all like to give yourselves when working out? I've seen some people workout for 90 minutes and say thats ideal. I normally shoot for a 45 minute workout and 15 minutes of recovery. HBU?

I usually do between 45-75 minutes depending on the workout
Underrated but Important: SHOES👟
Today, let's talk shoes! The right kicks can level up your workout. Here's what to look for: Wide Toe Box Let those toes spread out and grip the ground like eagle claws. More toe room means better stability. Flat Sole Ditch the overly cushioned shoes. They mess with your foot’s natural shape and mechanics. A flat sole helps you connect with the ground, giving you a solid base for lifting heavy and explosive movements. Comment below what shoes you are wearing in the gym! Stay strong and keep pushing, Red5

I wear barefoot style running shoes for leg day. Right now I alternate between Merrill Vapor Gloves and some Inov-8s. I’m all about the wide toe box in all my shoes.

I do workout on Sunday because the gym is super empty and I prefer to have my rest days during the week since it’s more hectic to fit everything in.
Are you a morning or afternoon training type of person?
I normally go early like 7am. I do not like waking up that early tho lol. But after finishing is a big goal complete for the day. My best hour to go working out is between 1pm and 3.30pm. There is not too many ppl at the gym and I’m well awake lol. Whats your working out preferred time?

I usually go after my gym’s evening classes at about around 6-6:30 pm. The gym we go to is small so it’s usually nice and quiet then.
