Reflection & Anticipation
Can you believe another year is coming to an end?!?! One of my favorite traditions when a year is ending, is to do some reflection. So often we don't take the time to look back and celebrate all that we've accomplished, or acknowledge those things that didn't go as we'd like (while honoring the learnings that came with those experiences). If you feel called to join in, grab your journal๐Ÿ“ (or open your notes app) and consider the questions below: ๐Ÿค” When you think back, what do you immediately think of? ๐Ÿ’ญ What dreams came true? ๐ŸŒฑ What lessons did you learn? ๐Ÿฆ‹ In what ways were you transformed? โœจ What are you the most proud of? ๐ŸŒธ What brought you the most joy? ๐ŸŒŸ What are you ready to release as we move into 2025? ๐ŸงŸ What felt off? Not quite right? What could you have done to change them (if anything)? Then, take a moment to consider what your best and worst days were. What you celebrated/grieved. What were the most exciting/scariest moments? What places did you visit? What books did you read? What TV shows/movies did you watch? Who was your closest friend this year? What was your favorite meal/drink/restaurant/outfit? You get the idea. This can be as in-depth as you want it to be. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Once you finish with your reflection... it's time to look forward! I love choosing a Word of the Year as a gentle guide for the months ahead. My word for 2025 is MOMENTUM. It literally popped into my head when asked, and it feels so aligned with my vision for Born to be Woo and our community. Ready to find your word for 2025? Here's some ways to brainstorm: ๐ŸŽฏ 1. Listen to your intuition: What's the first word that comes to mind? (Sometimes our inner wisdom knows exactly what we need!) 2. Reflect on your desires: What energy do you want to bring in next year? What do you want to create? Are there certain qualities that you need to exhibit to get there? 3. Sit with it: Once a word comes to you, give it a day or two. Does it still resonate? If not, what feels closer to what you're seeking?

Happy Thanksgiving โœจ
Wherever you are today, know that we're here. This Holiday, intended to celebrate all that we're grateful for, kicks off the Holiday season. ๐Ÿ For some, this is their favorite time of year. For others, this time brings on stress and dysfunction. Wherever you are in your life, know that this little corner of the Internet is a safe place. ๐Ÿ’ซ I encourage you to pop in here to share how you're navigating family energy, what you're proud of yourself for.... pop in when you need support, or just to start up conversations and get to know others in the group. For me, I am extremely grateful. ๐Ÿ™ I have a wonderful family. One that is very blended. At our dinner table today, we'll have my hunny, his son, my daughter, her boyfriend, my ex-husband, his 4-year-old daughter and myself. ๐Ÿ’ Being amicable with my ex was something I never envisioned when he and I split up 8 years ago. Yet, here we are. His daughter is a huge part of our lives (my hunny is just as smitten over her as I am!). ๐Ÿฅฐ I'm also so grateful for my Mom (who lives in the Midwest) and my Aunt (my surrogate Mom here in AZ), all my friends, clients and networking groups. โค๏ธ This year has been an interesting journey, but truly, I am a lucky gal. It's taken years to get to where I am. Happy. Content. And best of all, Authentically Me. โœจ As you sit down at your dinner table today (whether surrounded by family, furries, or just the space that is yours), know that I am sending you gratitude, appreciation and wishes for a wonderful Holiday season. ๐ŸŒŸ I am here if anyone needs anything โ€“ in fact, we're all here. ๐Ÿ’ซ Pop in, say hello, make a friend, share a tip/a win/a special moment, ask for support, whatever you need in this moment. And finally, I'll mention... next week is December. The last month of the year (not sure how that is possible!). ๐ŸŽ„ I'll be putting some events on calendar to not only plan for 2025, but also to wrap up the last month of 2024 with some reflection and self-care. ๐ŸŒฑ As I wrap up this post, know that my heart is so full. ๐Ÿ’– Thank you for choosing to join me on this journey! I'm excited for what's to come!

๐ŸŒ™ Midnight Musings on Letting Go...
Oof! I've been meaning to hop on here for awhile and then the day gets away from me. Especially so close to the Holidays, having a business rebrand in process, and a vacation in there somewhere. I'm sure you can all relate. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I had something happen last week though that I've been meaning to share. It offers a great opportunity to introduce you to.... Zen Master Woo! ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธโœจ He'll be our resident wisdom-keeper who finds profound lessons in everyday moments. Think Mr. Miyagi meets your quirky best friend. I hope you like him. ๐Ÿซถ So here goes: I don't even remember what night it was at this point, but I was sleeping, deep in dreamland, when my hunny moved in a way that startled me awake. At this point, the cat that often sleeps next to me (the one that always has feedback and a Yelp rating to deliver) decided the movement meant it's definitely breakfast time and started her (often annoying) behaviors to encourage that outcome. ๐Ÿˆ This started the whole process of trying to fall back to sleep.... trying to ignore her persistent requests... and trying desperately to recapture my lost dream. I found myself in an unexpected tug-of-war with letting go. I really wanted to escape back into that dream, yet the more I tried, the more it slipped away. It hit me then - here's this perfect little lesson about letting go, wrapped up in a middle-of-the-night moment. Sometimes the simplest things become our greatest teachers! The more I chased that dream, desperately trying to remember and return to it, the more frustrated I became. Yet the moment I accepted letting it go, I found a much more valuable lesson about attachment and release. As ZMW would say: "Ah, young grasshopper, sometimes the best wisdom comes when we stop chasing it. The dream that floats away often leaves a better lesson in its place."๐Ÿ˜‰โœจ What unexpected lessons have you discovered lately? Quick note: I'll be dropping an introduction to Zen Master Woo in the Questions category soon. You can wait or jump right in to ask him questions - he loves to impart wisdom. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Personal Share & Vision
Hey there! First, thank you for being here and for reading this. ๐Ÿฅฐ I've been sitting here today pondering this community. Envisioning what it might look like. Wondering who will be drawn here. Hoping I can provide valuable content that helps each one of you transform into the version of you you've been longing to be. ๐Ÿคž I had hoped to have this space all built out, yet I don't. I thank you for your patience on this! I'm all about transparency though and being truthful. So here's a quick look into the life of ReNae. - This past week was a whirlwind! - Lots of work on my business rebrand - Participated in a vendor event on Saturday - Prepped and facilitated my weekly breathwork and yoga nidra sessions (Sunday nights at ZenLife Healing Center in Queen Creek) - Spent time with my family (Mondays and Tuesdays are often spent with my hunny and sometimes a spectacular 4-year-old that we get to hang out with) - Prepared for our travel this weekend and next week (celebrating the marriage of a beautiful human to her true love) At home, we're navigating uncertainty. Our kids have grown and are preparing to spread their wings (excited for them, yet sad at the same time). This leaves my hunny and I wondering what our future is going to hold. It's a tough place for me to be because I've always had a plan, always known what was next. With all this going on (and because I spend a lot of time in my head), I'm having one of those moments when you step into something new, and it feels both exciting and terrifying. You know the feeling? Building an in-person community was my dream. And I've looked.... and looked.... and looked. Finding a space that had reasonable rent and a reasonable lease just doesn't exist. They all want a 5-year lease?!?! ๐Ÿคฏ A lot can happen in 5 years! I stumbled across this platform though - and liked what I saw! This could be the community, the space I've been dreaming about!! So, here I am! Being completely candid, this scares me. LOL I've done some things online, but posting regularly on social media just doesn't light me up. When I think of this community though, and all the possibilities it holds... that does light me up! It lights me up A LOT!

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Real Talk About Meditation โœจ
Good morning! I've decided to pop in as I have thoughts to spark conversations in the community (hope you will too!). Today's random thought? Meditation. The word alone could bring up a different sensation in each of us. Maybe you love it. Maybe you're curious. Maybe you dread it. There's so many options! For me... my meditation practice is... "inconsistent" (despite knowing how much it benefits me - I always (well, usually) feel really inspired after๐Ÿ˜…). This morning, I honored myself and took a few minutes to meditate. I've been using a new approach lately: pulling a Tarot card before meditating to give my practice some focus. Today's cards (Ace of Pentacles with Page of Swords as clarifier) got me thinking about our community and meditation... I started dreaming about what this might look like: - A meditation recording you could use anytime (whether you have 5 minutes or want to sit longer) - Group meditations for those who feel called to practice together - Community members facilitating their own meditations, if they feel inspired Before these ideas take on a life of their own, I'd love to hear from you: - What's your relationship with meditation? - Any particular challenges or wins you want to share? - What would you like to see in this community? - Is there anything that would make meditation more accessible or enjoyable for you? No pressure, no judgment - just real talk about what meditation looks like in our actual lives. Sometimes it's daily, sometimes it's been weeks, and sometimes it's just taking three deep breaths while hiding in the bathroom.๐Ÿ™ƒ It's all valid, and it's all part of the journey. ๐ŸŒฑ
