Siu Nim Tao Part B, Push Down Behind Back.
Good Evening, In Wing Chun the emphasis is on focus forward, I understand this principle both on an intellectual and experiential level as I have utilised the centre plane in tasks in every day life.
When SIfu discusses the practical application of this movement, he says that it would be useful as a way to break out of someone's grip.
Does this mean that in this instance your focus is backwards, or is it still focused forward in that once the move is executed you inertia will take you forward?
Thanks for reading.
