90 Pays of Peaceful Power ♾️
A day late beginning my journal, fortunately I began the challenge on the alloted day. I've slipped a few times with my practice, and had some time off in recent weeks due to life circumstance, so this comes at a perfect time to really kick start my practice and realign with the state. 11/11/24 Did I train today? 11/11/24 - 7am State training (which includes Siu Nim Tao training.) Upper Body Gym Session. 8pm State Training (7am Sydney time (includes Siu Nim Tao training.)) 8:30pm Form Training (Single Leg Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu pivoting, Biu Gee elbows.) 1am (Midday Sydney Time) HQ State Energy Work. 2am HQ all levels training. When will I train next? Tomorrow. What Observations/Questions/Insights do I have from todays training? I know I have had some time away, yet the connection to the components of the state is still there, fortunate enough to have the full 4 days off work this week to propel me in to this season of my kung fu training and I'm truly excited to see where it leads for everyone taking part. Thanks for reading. Adam.

90 Day Challenge “Opportunity & Acceptance”
Sounding out all the One Tao Family and Kung Fu Crew!! These few weeks have been a totem of change in my life, through a quick and constant acceleration of opportunity. I started teaching at a new yoga studio at the end of last month. These classes are building up in tandem with T’ai Chi & Wing Chun teaching and instruction more and more each day. As such, I have simply not recently had the time and energy to interact with these beloved online communities, as much as I am used to. Now, I am beginning to readjust, and return to a full paced existence, and feel friggin’ honored to be immersed deeply within so many exciting endeavors. I feel even more blessed to be surrounded by an increasingly large clan and community of talented and focused individuals who test my abilities, and support my drive in every aspect of my life. Much love, respect, and appreciation to those of you who show up for yourselves, and each other, everyday 🙌🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽 You are all the inspiration within inspiration that shines from deep within us all💫 It is within this vestige of commitment and camaraderie that I dedicate this 90 day challenge not only to constant peaceful power…but also the opportunity of acceptance; and the acceptance of opportunity. I feel I’m closely on the precipice of surfing in symbiosis with the true balance of “letting go,” and once again allowing my full power of life’s vitality back within.🔥 “Don't let life pass you by as you shrink back. Don't let passivity create a mummy-like, survival-type existence for you. Find people who want to help you enter the world, encourage you to take action, and support your attempts to regain the opportunity in your life and relationships.“ ~ Henry Cloud

I honestly don't know how you have enough hours in the day bro. I love your momentum and focus bro.
Just curious about belt level
Question when we are training this way do we get belt level and if so how do we go about it?

Our brother @Carlson Yan spoke on this topic in his post https://www.skool.com/skoolofselfmasteryfree/belts-verses-skill-level?p=923eff79. It is my understanding however that belts would be obtained through physically being tested by Sifu at his dojo. As Carlson expresses in the post above, belts do not necessarily determine skill level.

How many of you guys goes to gym and practice wing chun at the same time?
I am considering on starting to goin gym back soon and lose some body fat (since i haven't been going lately i have gained some major weight) The thing is that I have very little time to spare. How do you guys manage it or did you choose not to go at all.

@Peter Maximov it is the perfect place to learn to incorporate your internal work, sinking, sensing, centring, all of it can be practiced whilst moving at a gym.

I have been hitting the gym since August, we started a well being challenge in the paid group, I want to lose weight and for my body to carry the vigour that my spirit holds. I don't aim to get swoll, but I know that lifting weight is integral to my body holding my spirit and power delivery. Yes muscle fatigue can add to tension as can the restriction caused by muscle tightness, so ensure you stretch properly and have something like yoga or even pilates in your repertoire. This at least is my experience so far, although I have also taken @Melissa Cogan's advice on board too, although I will never in my life do steady state cardio 🤣.
