"That's exactly why I called!"
Hey guys, Had some fun playing around with the "That's exactly why I called" objection handle whilst cold calling today. Wanted to share the idea for those that might not have come across it before. For context, I pitch digital marketing services and I get a whole load of objections. "I'm not interested" "We've tried it before and it didn't work for us" "We've got an in-house team / agency already" "We're busy enough" I decided to throw the line "That's exactly why I called" in there every time I had an objection today and was surprised at how well it works. You've got to think on your feet a bit more after saying it but it breaks the pattern they're usually used to and actually kept me in the conversation for longer. It's worth thinking of the common objections you usually get and having a follow up statement / question ready but was just sharing as others might find this useful too! Take the classic "I'm not interested". You could respond with: "That's exactly why I called. I imagine you didn't jump out of bed this morning thinking about digital marketing (personality). In fact, I imagine as the Owner / CEO / MD, it's probably not in your list of priorities right now (feeding their ego). We actually had some similar results for XYZ client that I'd like to share with you (build credibility). Would you be against the idea of me at least sharing them with you to see if it might at least take you to slightly interested?" Anybody else had similar results or think this is something you could try out?

Happy Money Monday Hunters 🏹
I remember when I was working as a barista, Mondays were the Monday blues for me. Every bone in my body did not want to get out of bed and get ready for my week. I was so tired and unfulfilled with what I was doing. Then my Monday blues turned to excitement and hunger for the week when I started closing deals. I got out of bed when I wanted, start my day with who I wanted, then start to take calls. Also it was for the excitement that I could make $$$ from the comfort of my own home and it was the hunger that I was in control of my income and most importantly the amount of time I wanted to put into it. Moral of the story, the thought of Mondays shouldn't be a dragging thought, it should be a day where you are genuinely excited to start! Happy Hunting 🐊

Partner Spouse objections.. my favorite 👀
Heres how I would handle it… “I just really need to talk to my wife before I move forward” “Yeah for sure, I love that you want to talk to her and have her be in with you alongside your journey” “Can I ask, in your opinion, before you go and talk to your spouse, do you believe that what we talked about today CAN help you get to your goals of XXX.. because that is the most important part right? “Okay cool…when you do go to your wife, do you feel she would want you to learn x and get you to [desired goal] per month for you and the family? “Is there any reason on why she wouldn't want you to achieve this and go after your North Star for you and the family after x years of trying?” “hmm No” “Okay and I suppose in that capacity, when you go to your partner what do you FEEL would be the potential obstacles that MAY HAVE STOPPED YOU AND HER from moving forward on something to this IN THE PAST?” “yeah youre right do you take debit or credit” 💳
