CF2's native Zapier integration makes it dead simple to get stuff in and out when you're chained to another platform.
But if you don't pay attention to this one trick, you'll end up in a Zapier overload!
The other day I created two Zaps for the same funnel and filtered by Funnel and Page.
I assumed that this would do the following: "Any purchases made in this funnel and on this specific funnel step should fire this Zap"
But what happened was both Zaps fired with either product was purchased!
After a quick, pleasant conversation with support (what up Silvio!) I found out that CF actually creates CF native webhooks when filtering endpoints!
This is smart, and helpful because on that page you can see a tooltip that goes over exactly how these endpoint filters work.
Turns out, you can have a purchase event fire when either a purchase is made on any step of the funnel or on a specific funnel step page.
All I had to do was remove the more global Funnel endpoint filter and I was able to get the results I expected.
If all of this is gobbledygook to you, you can forward this to your tech person.. they'll be pumped!
And if you don't have one yet.. reach out!
