Day 15 - Don’t forget the popsicles
Today my wife A) remembered that the school had asked for donations of items the family fun fest at my daughter’s school, but she also…
B) Noted unfrozen popsicles were one of the needed items,
C) Put it on her Sunday grocery order list for the week,
D) Wrote a note on the popsicles indicating whose classroom the popsicles should go to, since our daughter is a wildcard with task requests,
E) Asked me if I would drop her off to make sure the box at least got to the school door, and finally,
F) Put the popsicles by the door so they wouldn’t get forgotten in the morning.
That’s a lot of mental load to make sure our family is doing its part to make things fun (and fair) for all the other families who contributed.
