My wife holds the mental load of getting all the kids presents and making sure they have the same amount. She will work with the kids on a Christmas list to get from. She also ends up being in charge of finding presents for her mom that is from everyone (her brothers and family). Once this is done she has to wrap all of these presents.

With the weather changing my wife has to check on all the kids pants to see how many fit and figure out how many we need to get. Once she figures that out it is time to shop around to find who has deals on pants. Both of my boys have totally different builts that makes it challenging.

My wife holds the mental load of finding the best fitting summer camps for my young kids. On top of that she also has to figure out what vacations we are taking the following summer so we are not paying for weeks they are not there. This has to be done by Christmas. Once we have this in place it falls on her to drop off and pick up. My kids are a lot and that puts her in the car with them close to an hour and half a day. That is on top of her busy job she has to get to.

My wife always carries the mental load of finding hotel with the best points per price for rooms and also making sure that we are close enough to the things she has planned out and places to eat while there. The only thing she ask of me is to let her know how much PTO time I have to factor in. I really drop the ball on this on getting back to her in a timely manner a lot. Just adds more stress on her for booking these trips.

My wife goes the extra mile when getting groceries by making different orders from different places and shopping around to get food and house supplies. She also finds the places that have you spend so much and get an amount off. She finds ways to maximize our savings on every order. So many things I would never think of or try to do.
