👋Intro Post
What's up, everyone? I'm Chris (obviously). I've actually been working out for quite a while now.
My story and current goal in an attempt to keep it brief: I've been at it for several years, but back in 2019 I found out I had a cancerous tumor above my heart the size of a naval orange. Chemo was required. Though I'm done with treatments and all went well, I still felt off. Like bouncing back was harder than it should have been.
In 2023 I had a bunch of bloodwork done and found my testosterone levels tanked likely due to the treatments and never went back to normal levels. My total T was 288ng/dL, TRT is typically recommended for people below 300ng/dL to put things into perspective.
After a ton of trial and error, I was able to get back to around 600ng/dL and maintain (Without TRT thankfully lol)! So now my main goal is to either maintain that or raise it and get leaner, hoping the fat comes off a bit easier this time now haha.
Since I've been at it for a while, I like to think I know a thing or two when it comes to fitness, but one thing I know for sure is that I don't know everything, so I'm open.
I mainly joined for the community, inspiration, and accountability that comes with surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals. I find that I can push harder this way.
Anyway, I know it was a lot but thanks for reading. A pleasure to be here. 🙏
