Why is it so difficult to believe in ourselves?
When we are kids, we cannot see ourselves. It is our parent's job to reflect back to us who we are. The problem is that many parents weren't good at this. When they judged, criticized, bullied, rejected, etc you... you created a negative self-image of yourself. So you have "proof" in your mind that you cannot believe in yourself, because that is how your parents treated you, sometimes or many times. So you cannot just tell yourself "I believe in myself", because you didn't have a role model as a kid, that taught you that. That I why affirmations don't work for most people... Because the subconscious mind has "proof" that you cannot believe in yourself, you cannot just repeat a phrase to change it. The work you have to do is much deeper than affirmations. To be able to change this, you need to access the subconscious mind at a very deep level. Access those old memories where you were programmed in a negative way and start reprogramming them, "back" then. I struggled for many years... with low self-esteem, low self-doubt, insecurities... When I was taught how to access those old memories in the subconscious mind, I was able to start reprogramming and healing. Reprogramming of the subconscious mind allows you to get rid of the self-doubt, low self-esteem, to become your greater version. With the right reprogramming, your life can change forever. How are you working on reprogramming and healing to believe in yourself? Let me know in the comments.

When your mind is bubbling with subtle fears or negative thoughts
QUESTION:
How do you rest?? What do you do for rest and how do you convince yourself not to work instead?? I have a hugely toxic mindset right now that if I have any energy at all, I NEED to use it to work, which means I'm always either working or asleep. I wanna rest. I wanna have hobbies. I wanna read or make art or...idk! Help??

QUESTION:
Needing some help
I had surgery in March 2024 to repair a torn meniscus after breaking my leg. Just as I was starting to get back to walking after being in a wheelchair for the last 6 months, I fell and broke my leg again in the same spot, my tibia and this time I completely tore the rest of the meniscus and damaged my ACL. I’m having another surgery as soon as the broken tibia heals (6-8 weeks). I have been pushing the reality of my problem away not dealing with it. Every time it pops up, I think of being at the beach hearing the waves splashing. I believe I’m scared to acknowledge it because I’m scared it will make me give up and get depressed. I know it’s not healthy to suppress emotions. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? Thanks in advance!
