Welcome Aboard CFD Dose - The 1st CFD community on Skool!
Here's the scoop: Working on CFD projects is like being in a rock band but playing gigs in different cities without ever meeting your fans. Sure, LinkedIn's been our stage for a while, and it's cool and all, but Skool? It's the VIP backstage pass we've all been waiting for. It's where we can jam on our projects, share the latest beats, and actually hear what you all think. It's our own CFD festival, and you're already on the guest list. CFD Dose, is all about turning CFD into a blast and a profitable gig for everyone, whether you're just starting out or you've been in the game for ages. I'll be breaking down the complex stuff into fun bits, making sure you can actually enjoy learning and, hey, maybe even start making a profitable business from it. Think of us as your fun-loving CFD guide NOT a lame teacher :) *Heads-up! We may go premium down the line to keep the good times rolling and the perks flowing. _____________________________________________________ ๐ŸŽฅ Subscribe to the following channels to stay up to date: - CFD Dose - CFD4Industry -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What to Expect in CFD Dose?! โœ… An enthusiastic and engaging community from all over the planet. ๐ŸŒ โœ… Access to SplashFOAM - a dynamic wrapper/GUI for OpenFOAM. โœ… T-Flows Crash Course (TFCC): from basics to guru-level applications. โœ… Latest CFD Literature: regular updates on the freshest CFD studies. โœ… Open source development: Latest updates in open-source CFD. โœ… Academic project ideas: a plethora of ideas for your grad projects. โœ… Monthly CFD virtual coffee: A relaxed, insightful CFD chats. โœ… Resource sharing: Access to top-quality CFD articles and resources. โœ… CFD job opportunities: Land your dream CFD job (updated weekly). โœ… Judgment-free atmosphere: No question is stupid there! โœ… Collaborative projects: working together on real-world CFD projects.

Posts about CFD on LinkedIn
Hello everyone. I recently took the initiative to create my laboratory's social networks. We are starting our posts and we will try to bring relevant topics to promote good scientific discussions. Today we are posting a little about our experience with the experimental PIV and Shadow Sizing techniques. Come and learn a little more about us and, if you like, like and follow us to receive our posts. Using "Mean Age of Air" in CFD
In industrial CFD consulting, my company has found the โ€œMean Age of Airโ€ concept to be incredibly useful. It helps leverage a steady-state solution to show some transient-like flow behaviors. The steady-state solution already has characterized the primary and secondary flow structures, so adding in the Mean Age of Air calculation can enable some time-based information to be gleaned from the solution. We also have noticed that the concept is not well-documented in the CFD community, so we put together a workshop on how to incorporate this calculation into your CFD predictions. The workshop is also a great overview on convective vs. diffusive driven flow, so if you are a CFD beginner, itโ€™s worth a listen. A summary and how-to steps are also available here: https://www.azorecfd.com/blog/mean-age-of-air Some applications: - Tank purging/cleaning operations - Ventilation of enclosed spaces - Air exchange rates in HVAC models - Identification of stagnant/bypass flow
