Reminder/Rant: Making money online is too easy
Here's how you speed run your way to $5,000/month and become our next success story without any bells or whistles. 1. Prove to people you can help them by actually helping someone and then making content about how you helped them. AKA: Get some proof n show the world. 2. Ask ppl who watch the content to DM you for a free cool helpful thing OR click the link below to join your 7 day free trial. 3. DM them back and get them on a phone call/send them a 7 day trial link. 4. On the call, show em what you offer and see if they wanna buy/start a free trial. No pressure. If you wondering what all our top success stories do to make money, it's this โ˜๐Ÿป But 2 of the most common problems I see a lot of beginners in this community have is: 1) "I don't know what to help people with." And 2) "I don't know how to make good content." And so in addition to covering the 4 steps listed above in autistic detail, I've also made hundreds of hours of content just covering those 2 above issues. But the more I think about it... The more I realize: some people are just not cut out for this line of work. Seriously. You reading this right now. You may not be cut out to be a contentpreneur... Triggered? Good. Because look: If you're goona let those two small hurdles stop u living your dream life with your dream business... Do you really even want this? Really? I was sleeping on a cold floor in Canada in the middle of December dreaming of one day having enough money to sleep in a bed. Everyday when I woke up I got to work building my dream business on a crappy laptop and worked on it 16+ hours/day until I crawled back onto the cold floor to get some rest. How bad did I want to succeed? I was desperate. I gave it MY ALL. No social life. No women. Did I face a lot of struggles w my biz? Yeah! Tons! Mostly mental ones tho. But not these basic struggles like: "Idk what to offer" - I just started selling whatever I saw others selling!

@Ted Carr I see more and more communities move away from free trials. What are your thoughts on them?

@Sherifa Nakalema Yeah, calls seem to be the supreme meta to convert. Thinking about a way to let the community do the selling for me. Maybe I can let the paid members form team and have them compete to recruit new members. Of course they'd get an affiliate.
What are you working on before Christmas?
We are most productive before going on a vacation or a holiday because we must finish everything. What are you working on before Christmas?

Burnout
You're working hard, fighting through fatigue and frustration, Willing yourself to continue to push forward to the results you've been working towards. It's painful, It's messy, It's imperfect, And yet we do it anyway because that is what we call growth and progress. But is there a better way to work? Is there a way to get our work done without burning out? Have you felt burned out in the past? What did you do about it? Do you believe that people are too proud to admit they're burned out? Do you think burnout is just a fancy word for weakness? Are you feeling burned out? If so, drop a comment below and let's talk about it.

@Mitchell Dallas I think we burn out by working hard without seeing progress. It happened to me last year. I switched my target avatar too often and didn't see any progress. Instead of talking to my avatar, I reworked the landing page and rewrote the email sequence. Of course no one cared because I didn't let anyone know about it. I didn't sell anything because I didn't ask anyone for feedback. This year I started interacting with people first and got my first client after two weeks. Maybe it is because of the magic of skool or because I learned my lesson. Probably both.
Turn Off Your Auto-DM๐Ÿ”•
Donโ€™t get me wrong, If used right, Auto-DMs are a good feature!๐Ÿ‘Œ But theyโ€™re lacking one important part: A personal touch๐Ÿ‘ฅ โ€œThe way a member joins your community determines how active theyโ€™re going to be.โ€ If youโ€™re welcoming them with an auto-generated message, theyโ€™re much more likely to not even be active at all in your community๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ BUT, If you actually take the time to make a personalized Loom for them, showing them around and inviting them to a call,๐Ÿ“ž where you just want to get to know them. Theyโ€™re much more likely to be active afterwards!๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ Look, we as humans seek interaction with other humans. If you tell them to introduce themselves,๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ theyโ€™ve automatically started interacting with members in your community. Because there will always be some people welcoming them. Well, itโ€™ll be at least you๐Ÿ‘‹ PLUS, You can also use this method to book more onboarding callsโ˜Ž๏ธ Just tell them: โ€œIf you found this call helpful, Iโ€™d be happy for you to make a post about it in the community. This will help me speak to more people. Thank you!โ€ Thereโ€™s one downside though, itโ€™ll take you more time to welcome everyoneโฐ But thatโ€™s what an engaged community is worth :)

@Jonas Dzaack I have seen something really powerful. If you are already committed to welcome everyone personal, write this in the Auto Dm. Let them know that you are happy they joined and tell them that you will send them a personalized loom within 24 hours. Make sure to do it though. If you can't keep it up, it backfires.
The Efficiency Trick That Saved Me Hours
Iโ€™ve taught myself how to save 5+ hours every week. And in this post Iโ€™m going to show you the subtle action preventing you from doing the same so you can take your life back. I wasnโ€™t always able to work with this kind of efficiency thoughโ€ฆ I have comparison to thank for that. I spent so much time expressing concern over the gap between me and other peopleโ€ฆ Iโ€™d constantly fall into anxiety and hopelessness. This state of desolation made focused work impossible and even meaningless. After all, Itโ€™s really easy to talk yourself into the idea that โ€œThereโ€™s no chance Iโ€™ll ever make it.โ€ when youโ€™re in a saddened mood like this. Yet one day I realized the truth of the situationโ€ฆ We often compare ourselves to the โ€œmeasuring sticksโ€ of online businessโ€ฆ Guys like Hormozi, Iman Gadzhi, even the Tate brothers. But the reality isโ€ฆ Theyโ€™re SUPPOSED to be ahead of us. Theyโ€™ve been in online business much longer than most people here. Even ifโ€ฆ Everyoneโ€™s journey is different. Besides, Whatโ€™s worrying about someone elseโ€™s achievement going to do for you? Focus on yourselfโ€ฆ thatโ€™s where your money is made, after all. (Speaking ofโ€ฆ donโ€™t worry about the money As long as you follow your heart and do what you were put on this earth to doโ€ฆ Youโ€™ll be perfectly fine.) ANYWAYS THOUGH The best thing you could do to solve this issue is keep these ideas in mind. Be mindful whenever you see yourself comparing. Remind yourself that, โ€œMy journey is different from _____. Everything is still going well for me and I am on the path to fulfill my desires.โ€ Once I did this I saved myself over an hour every single dayโ€ฆ Not even to mention the increase in positivity I experienced. Do you frequently compare yourself to other people? LMK below

@Luka Picca The only person I want to compare myself to is previous versions of me. I know I am doing well when I cringe about my past self. It shows I have grown and gotten better.
