What equipment should I buy?
Hi everybody! My gym membership is going to end in October and I’m thinking of doing calisthenics in my room. I’ll start buying equipment slowly each month. Just wanted to know what equipment I should invest in first.

@Zosia Osowska I was thinking about that but I am confused between a pull up bar and a pull up station. Pull up station seems more versatile but also takes up more space. Tough decision to make.
Gym+Calisthenics
Hey guys! I wanted to ask if I should combine my gym routine with my calisthenics training or should I do them on separate days. I do Push Pull Leg for my gym routine and thought it would be a good idea to add push-ups, pike push-ups and dips on my push day; pull ups, chin ups and Australian pull ups on pull days and some leg exercises on leg days. I’m not sure if this is the right approach or should I have dedicated days for calisthenics training?

@Lucas Morales Although I’ve been going to the gym for more than a year, I’m still quite a beginner to calisthenics which to me seems like a completely different ball game than lifting weights. I can do about 8 push ups for now and 0 pull ups. I guess once I am able to master these basic exercises, that’s when I can start adding weights. I do want to learn skills on the side and I’m gonna train for those on my rest days.

@Lucas Morales That’s true. Eventually I’ll switch over to calisthenics completely once I reach a certain level.
Push ups
How many every day? 😁 curious where everyone's at . I'm at 3x10 morning, 3x10 evening. 😂 Considering that i only started being consistent with push ups from last month😁

I can do about 5 but even that is a struggle. I think my form needs improvement. I’m gonna start recording myself from now on to check my form.

I’m an English teacher currently working in Thailand. Lost over 20kg in 8 months and now want to start my calisthenics journey.
