What do you do?
Question what do you do when youโ€™re down? I feel like the journey of entrepreneurship has many highs and many lows. So what do you yโ€™all do? Sometimes I know why Iโ€™m feeling down maybe my skool isnโ€™t turning out like I expect or lack of engagement etc. Other times itโ€™s harder to pin. Would love any insight!

How do you deal with the naysayers?
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป How do people react when you tell them about your skool community or biz as an entrepreneur? OR ๐Ÿ’ญ What happens when you come across peeps that just donโ€™t get you in the biz world? Do you keep on keeping on? Or do you feel the mindfuckery creep inโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not doing it right.. I might as well give upโ€ฆ ๐Ÿค” Or any number of other things that are all based in fear that maybe you arenโ€™t good enough, donโ€™t have what it takes, just need to be like someone else etcโ€ฆ Pssstโ€ฆ this is your permission slip to not give any flying fucks about what others think you should be doing. Especially those that arenโ€™t paying your bills, keeping a roof over your head etcโ€ฆ and even if they are, remember that everyone views things through their lenseโ€ฆ and most of the time that sort of questioning is rooted in their own fear and biases from their life journey. Do you know what you are doing by entertaining those sorts of thoughts? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Depriving yourself from walking in your true life path, in your passion and purpose, which then if you arenโ€™t doing that it deprives the peeps you are meant to help and share things you have learned along the way with. I know itโ€™s scary to step into the unknown and embark on a journey that most others refuse toโ€ฆ but I promise the more you step into yourself authentically and do the next damn thing right in front of you, the magic starts to unfold. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ You canโ€™t keep doing the same things you always have and expect to wake up in an entirely different lifeโ€ฆ itโ€™s those small steps and pushing the growth edges that makes room for whatโ€™s to come. The refining fire isnโ€™t always pleasant, but itโ€™s what burns up the old ish that isnโ€™t serving you to make room for the diamond you are to shine.

It depends on if they are good friends or not. If they are just random people you don't know that well find a new peer group. In general don't talk about your goals and dreams in front of everyone because it just gives you a dopamine hit for talking about them so you'll be less likely to do things that bring them into existence. If it's a naysayer on an ad that you've created just appreciate their point of view and why they might have it. Like their comment.
What Does Success Mean to YOU!
We hear it all the time โ€œsuccess isn't a destination; it's a journeyโ€ (Itโ€™s TRUE). Itโ€™s more than just wealth or statusโ€”it's waking up with purpose, pursuing your passions, and making a positive impact on the world around you. Skool has given us a platform to be successful! Skool has changed the game for me in a significant way! I have always been Stephen Buscema but I now have a stage to help others, I have been given a chance to speak, I have the mic ๐ŸŽค And SO DO YOU! ๐Ÿ˜Š We need to embrace failure as a stepping stone, learning from every setback, and never settling for mediocrity. Itโ€™s about setting goals that challenge you, staying disciplined in your efforts, and celebrating every milestone along the way. True success is living a life aligned with your values, where your achievements bring fulfillment and inspire others to chase their dreams. Let me ask you, what does success mean to you? Letโ€™s redefine it together!

Money is just RETAIL SUCCESS. It's basic. Many people obsess over it and ironically don't make that much. I'm greedy for SUCCESS UPON SUCCESS. Impacting people and changing lives and making friends is more value able than money. SUCCESS UPON SUCCESS is not spending a SECOND of my time doing crap I don't care about (showing up to a corporation making someone else rich).
Whatโ€™s Your Biggest Skill Gap Right Now?
Hey Everyone..Iโ€™ve been thinking a lot lately about skills I need to work on. For me, itโ€™s definitely salesโ€”Iโ€™ve never really done it before, and honestly, itโ€™s a bit uncomfortable stepping into something so new. But Iโ€™m diving in because I know itโ€™s an important part of growing. How about you? Whatโ€™s the one skill you feel like you need to work on the most right now?

@Thomas Jordan That's good news because sales is easy to learn and you can get better at it by role playing without even needing a real prospect.

@Thomas Jordan I learned in a call center job making hundreds of calls per day. 1. Let the prospect speak because he has all the information needed to sell him, you don't, and he will tell you what's needed to seal the deal if he can sense you're really listening.
Are you positively contributing to the wider Skool community?
Let's say you were invited to a house party where you didn't know the host. You were greeted with a cold drink as you arrived. There was great music and conversations and everyone was so friendly The BBQ was on in the garden and they had your favourite sauce for the chicken After a day of eating, drinking and lots of great company you left with a full belly and a happy heart (and a bit tipsy from all the free drinks). Would you leave that party without thanking the host? Now let's say these BBQ's at this house become a regular thing... Would you then turn up the next time and ignore the host on arrival and again not say thank you? Would you turn up a 3rd time and again not bring a bottle of wine or something for the BBQ, but still eat, drink and be merry for hours? I would like to say the answer is no and that you have more manners than that! But here's my question... Are you having those same manners and common curtesy when you enter someones Skool group (which in essence is their virtual party they have spend time, money and love to host)? Or are you never stopping to say hello, let alone "thank you for having me"? Or how about with creators in here who are answering your questions, or sharing their knowledge? I know there are a lot of generous and heart led creators in here who give so much of their time and knowledge away for free. I also know so many of us do give back to others and show thanks. and I am also seeing and hearing of a self-entitlement from some people who are just wanting to take from others and are not giving as much as they are receiving. I don't want Skool to become like this. I want this community to be one full of people who care about the success of the collective. If you have had people on Skool who have gifted you advice, free training, access to free groups, or access to calls/coaching here are a few things you can do to give back: - Thank someone who takes the time to give you free advice in here/Skool Games - Say thank you and hello when you are let into a free Skool group - Show appreciation for any free resources you access inside a group. Don't just watch/read them but say nothing. Example - "that training was super helpful, thank you so much for sharing with us." - If you attend free calls, thank them for hosting. - Recommend people to those who have helped / tell your friends. - Purchase something from the classroom that is within your budget - Ask them is there anything specific you can do to support them.

Lmao at the party analogy....sometimes I'm guilty of lurking and not thanking the creator. The most important rule of all: YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN with skool!!!
